A DECISION OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR
DENYING AMUSEMENT ARCADE N0. 1016
Sam and Terry Hammouri
Anaheim Hills Market and Liquor
6501 East Serrano Avenue
Anaheim, CA 92807
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Administrator for the City of Anaheim has DENIED the above
referenced permit application for an Amusement Arcade consisting of twelve (12) amusement
devices located at 6501 East Serrano Avenue, Anaheim, California (Anaheim Hills Market and
Liquor).
The DENIAL of this permit, in accordance with. Anaheim Municipal Code Sections 4.14.010 and

because the location is within 600 feet of a public school (Anaheim Hills Elementary
School) and a private school (Towne and Country Private Educational Center), and that both
schools opposed the proposal;
2. That 28 public notices were mailed on August 6, 1992 to each business and residence
located within a radius of three hundred (300) feet from the premises within which said
arcade is proposed;
3. That less than a majority of the above-mentioned businesses and/or residences protested
subject application during the ten-day public notice period (1 protest letter was received);
4. That the proposed use will be contrary to the public interest, health, safety, morals or
general welfare.
