RE: Notice of Decision -Approving Amusement Arcade No. 1023
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Administrator for the City of Anaheim has approved the above
referenced permit application to permit an Amusement Arcade consisting of up to twenty-eight (28)
amusement devices located at 968 South Euclid Street (U Pick Arcade), Anaheim, California.
Approval of this permit, in accordance with Anaheim Municipal Code Section 4.14.045, is based on the
following findings of fact:
1. That public notices were mailed on October 1, 1993 to each business and residence located within
a radius of three hundred (300) feet from the premises within which said arcade is proposed;
2. That, although at least 38 signed objections were received, objections were received from less than
50% of the above-mentioned businesses and tenants during the ten-day public notice period;

3. That the proposed arcade is located on property zoned CL 'Commercial, Limited' which zone
permits amusement arcades; and
4. That the proposed use will not be contrary to the public interest; health, safety, morals or general
welfare.
Any person aggrieved by the decision of the Zoning Administrator may appeal such decision to the City
Council within ten (10) days fioliowing the date of this decision. Such appeal shall be submitted in writing
to the Office of the City Clerk.

At the special meeting of November 22, 1993, Annika M. Santalahti, Zoning Administrator,
considered your request for a time extension for Final Parcel Map No. 86-335 in order to
record the map. Under authority of Anaheim Municipal Code Sections 17.08.060.020,
17.08.180.030 and 18.12.045, Ms. Santalahti granted your request, retroactive from November
22, 1992 and to expire on November 22, 1994.
