A CONTRAC/~ TO BE MADE AND ENTERED INTO WITH ROBERT J. BARLETTA AND BRUCE COOK FOR
THE SALE OF CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPHRTY AND EQUIPMENT AND FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE
EUCLID TRUCK LINE AND THE ~AGNOLIA TRU~ LINE AND APPURTENANT FACILITIES.

SIDEWALKS; TRACT NO. 2838z DISTRICT TQ BE FORMED. Councilman Coons moved that the
previous action taken by the City CounCil that a district be formed for the installa-
tion of sidewalks and curbs on the South side of Westmont Drive from Loara Street
to West Street, and on Loara Street to North Street, the cost to be borne by the
benefits derived of this improvement on all the property within the area, be rescinded.
Councilman Wtsser seconded the mo%ion. MOTION CARRIED.
CANCELLATION OF COUNTY TAXES~: On motion by Councilman Wisser, seconded by Council-
man Fry, the City Council authorized request for cancellation of county taxes on
property purchased by the City of Anahetm~ for public purposes, as recorded in
Book 3496, page 479, pursuant to Resolution No. 3199. MOTION CARRIED.
FINAL N~P, IRACT NO. 2303.' Tract is located north of Lincoln Avenue, west of
Magnolia Avenue.
George ~. Holyoke, City Engineer reported that Final Map of Tract No. 2303
was substantially the same as the Tentative Map previously approved, and that all
necessary bonds have been posted and fees paid, and recommended the approval of
said Final Map.
Final Map of Tract No. 2303 wa~ approved ky the City Council, subject to
engineering requtrements~ on motion by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Wisser.
MOTION CARRIED.
FINAL NL~P, TRACT NO. 3007: Tract is located between Crescent Avenue and Lincoln
Avenue, and between Dale and Magnolia Avenues.
George E. Holyoke, City Engineer reported that the Final Map of Tract No.
3007 was substantially the same as the Tentative Map previously approved, and that
all bonds have been posted and necessary fees paid, and recommended the approval
of said Final Map.
Final Map of Tract No. 3007 wa~s approved by the City Council, subject to
engineering requirements, on motion by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Wisser.
MOTION CARRIED.
NATIONAL RECREATION ASSOCIATION CONFERF~H.: Don K. Derr, Parks and Recreational
Director~ was authorized to attend the National Recreation Association Conference
in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, September 30, to October 5~ 1956, on motion by
Councilman Coons, seconded by Councilman Fry. MOTION CARRIED. Mr. Derr will~ on
behalf of the ~est Coast Recreation Departments, help conduct a two-day training
session in "Park and Administration".
