It was reported that every 8fVenue of possible solution to the working
out of a buffer between the property ~ers to the West had been exhausted.
The City Council felt it w~d make for better relations between
the people in the area if the Church ~d construct a wall between these

MAINTENANCE YARD ON LA PA.LMA. AVENUE FOP. THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SANTA ANA
F'R.EEWAY: A report of investigation of'maintenance yard on La Palma Avenue
East of the Santa Ana Freeway by the City Attorney was submitted and read
and discussed. It appeared that both the State of California and the Contractor
are being as considerate as possible of the adjoining property owners but that
the construction of the Freeway necess~tates a double shift and also necessates
a maintenance yard for construction eqlrl-pment. It was felt that the only
remedy the City of Anaheim had was the volontary cooperation received by the
State Highway Department and the Cont~ctors on the Project.
