Anaheim, California - COUNCIL MINUTES - November 179 19599 7:00 P.M. .REQUEST - FOUR ADDITIONAL TEMPORARY CLASSROOMS - SAINT BONIFACE SCHOOL: This matter was held over from the meeting of November 10, 1959, for the purpose of securing a plot plan of the area, indicating the location of present building and proposed classrooms. Mro Murdoch presented plot plan, and discussion was held, at the con- clusion of which, it was moved by Councilman Pearson, seconded by Councilman Fry, that permission be granted for the erection of the four temporary classrooms, as requested, for a time limit to run concurrently with the two present temporary classrooms on the property (February 24, 1962), and further subject tOt 10 A minimum of 20 foot clearance between all buildings. 20 A one-hour fire wall be provided. 30 Two exits for each classroomo (front and rear) 40 Bus garage removed upon completion of classrooms. 50 Replacement of the electrical line that extends over proposed building locations 60 Replacement of that portion of the sewer line over which the proposed 0uilding will be placed, with six inch cast iron pipe. 70 Portable fire extinguishers throughout building. 80 A manual fire alarm bell to be placed in each building. MOTION CARRIEDG TRAFFIC SIGNAL - BROOKHURST-CERRITOS: With reference to the verbal request for 3 traffIc signal at the intersection of Brookhurst and Cerritos, MrG Murdoch reported on a study made of various intersections and also on this years budget allocation for these improvements, and stated that this particular intersection was fourteenth or fifteenth on the priority list. Councilman Coons moved that the request be deferred at this time for further consideration a Councilman Pearson seconded the motiono MOTION CARRIED. WAIVER OF BULDING CODE REOUIREMENT (SHAKE ROOF): Request of Mr. Edwin Daly for waiver of building requirement to allow installation of shake roof on mortuary being constructed per Building Permit Noo 7899, was submitted. No action by the City Council was required, as this is allowed under the 1958 Building Code. REFUND - TRACT NO. 3348: On the recommendations of the City Manager, refund was authorized on motion by Councilman Pearson, seconded by Councilman Thompson, of $6,355096 to Euclid-Ball Company, George Mo Holstein III, President, 166 East 17th Street, Costa Mesa, California, representing fees paid on Tract No. 3348, on which final approval by the City Council was deniedo MOTION CARRIED. SPECIAL USE PERMIT NO. 48 - SIDEWALK WAIVER: Request of West Anaheim Church of Christ for waiver of sidewalk requirement at 7222 Orange Avenue, was submitted. On motion by Councilman Coons, seconded by Councilman Pearson, temporary waiver of sidewalk requirements was granted, until such time as side- walks are required by the City Engineero MOTION CARRIED. SIDEWALK WAIVER - 1001 EAST BALL ROAD: Request of West Coast Division, Tapco Group, Thompson Ramo Wooldridge, Inca, for waiver of sidewalk requirement at 1001 East Ball Road, was submitted. It was moved by Councilman Fry, seconded by Councilman Thompson, that temporary sidewalk waiver be granted, 1001 East Ball Road, and also on the East Street frontage, until such time as required by the City Engineer. MOTION CARRIED. WAIVER - REQUIRED INSTALLATION, CURBS, GUTTERS, SIDEWALK AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS, 800 EAST ORANGETHORPE: Request of Heyer and Perkins for waiver of curbs, gutters, sidewalk and street improvements fronting property located at 800 East Orangethorpe, was submitted.
