RESOLUTION NO. 2004- 229
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN
PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY AT MANCHESTER COURT, OLD
MANCHESTER A VENUE, LOARA STREET AND OLD
LINCOLN A VENUE ADJACENT TO THE SANTA ANA
FREEWAY (Abandonment No. 2004-00097)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by resolution duly
adopted, declare its intention to vacate certain public streets, highways or public service
easements pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said vacation was posted and
published in the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, on the 16th day of November, 2004, a public hearing was held to
allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed vacation.
WHEREAS, the abandonment approved herein does not convey right, title and
interest to the abandoned property, which is conveyed by separate quitclaim deed pursuant
hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of a portion of that certain public right of way at
Manchester Court, old Manchester Avenue, Loara Street and old Lincoln Avenue adjacent to the
Santa Ana Freeway.
See Exhibit "A", attached hereto, for the legal description of the foregoing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this Resolution
shaH not be effective until a certified copy of this Resolution is recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby,
authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of
the Recorder of the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council

Page 22 of Records of Survey, in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,

Parcel A:
Commencing at the Southwest comer of said Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter
of Section 9; thence North 0020'27" East 220.00 feet along the West line of said
Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 9 to a point hereinafter referred to
as Point "A"; thence continuing along said West line, said West line also being the

an EASEMENT for Public purposes to construct, reconstruct, replace, reconfigure,
renew, modify, operate, maintain, use, inspect, repair, relocate, enlarge, alter, add to,
improve and remove, at any time from time to time, any existing or future sewer,
drainage, and electrical facilities, structures, fixtures and appurtenances, in, over, upon,
under, above, along, and across the entirety of said Parcel A and Parcel B, together with
all rights of ingress and egress thereto, including the right to enter onto said easement at
any time from time to time, with such vehicles, machinery, and equipment as may be
necessary or convenient to the City of Anaheim, its agents or assigns for any and all
purposes herein mentioned.
