Regular Meeting held December 10th with regards to Variance No. 159, whereby the Commission
granted permission to use the southerly leO feet of a lot at 1940 East Center Street for
repair garage for automobiles: Following facts were established:
1. No action upon Variance No. 159 was taken at the reg~lar meeting held on
December ), 1951 due to the fact that no adequate plot plan was submitted with the pet-
Ltion. Fetitions for and against the granting of the variance were presented at this
meeting. All present were informed that an adjourned regular meeting would be called at
a later date, due notice of which would a~pear in the newspapers. It was agreed by all
present that tnis would be sufficient notice.

showing how the land would be used and shov/ing the location of the building was presented
and the variance was granted.
3. At the City Council meeting held on December 11, 1951 several protestants
appeared and stated that they had not received notices of the adjourned meeting of the
Planning Cow~ission. It was not the intent of the Planning Commission to send individual
notices of this meeting. The City Council at this meeting sent the variance back to the
Planning Commission to reconsider the variance.

ion of 1\;1'1". RO\vland 'Neir, lessee, to present new plans for a building to the City Planni..ng
