RESOLUTION NO. 70R-520
A RESOLU~ION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHE~~ DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
AND ABANQON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING
A DATE FdR HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS,t.he City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed under the provisions of the Public Service
Easement Vacation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5 of the
Government Code, in connection with a request for vacation and
abandonment of certain real property hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use that certain easement
for public utility ,purposes upon, along, over and through the
following described property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, and State of California, to wit:
That certain p~blic utility easement located in the City
of Anaheim, Cd~nty of Orange, State of California, to be
abandoned, deScribed in Deed recorded as Instrument No.
21908, Decembar 6, 1950, lying within Lot 2 of Tract No. 71,
as shown on a map recorded in Book 10, page 22 of His-
cellaneous MaP', records of Orange County, California, being
a one-foot stiip of land, the centerline of which is
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the north line of said Lot 2
distant weste~ly 470.53 feet from the northeast corner
thereof; then~e South parallel with the west line of said
Lot 2, a dist~nce of 600 feet to the point of terminus of
said one-foot strip.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Public
Service Easement V~cation Law, Title 5, Division 1, Article 5
of the Government Code.
BE IT FU~~HER RESOLVED that a time and place for hear-
ing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation and aband~nment has been fixed on the 10th day of
November , 1970, at 1: 30 0 I clock P.M. in the Council
Chamber in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall
certify to the pas$age of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be publish~d in a manner prescribed by law in the Anaheim
Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published
and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 20th day of October, 1970.
