RESOLUTION NO. 70R-Sl4
A RESOLUTJON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ~AHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NO. 1201
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receiv~ a request for a Conditiona.l Use Permit from
Tax Sheltered Inve~ents, Inc., 14724 Ventura Boulevard, Sherman
Oaks, California, ~s agent for Max F. and May E. Hiltscher, owners,
to establish a car~sh with accessory gasoline sales on C-l,
GENERAL COMMERCIAL JZONE, on the following described property:
Tract No. 3370, Lot No.1, as recorded in Miscellaneous
Maps of Orange County, Book 144 pages 7 and 8.
AND ~S, the City Planning Commission did-hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon
said request on September 10, 1970 ~ notices of which
said public hearIn$ were duly given as required by law and the
provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspectionj in-
vestigation and st~dies made by itself and in its behalf and
after due consider.tion of all evidence and reports offered at
said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. PC70-l62 ______
deQying Conditional Use Permit No. 1201-
; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty-two (22) days from
the date of the ad~ption of said resolution, a written appeal
was filed with the City Council protesting the action of the
City Planning Commission in dQRyt~ said Conditional
Use Permit and said appeal was set 0 public hearing on

October 20, 1970, ~t the City Hall, in the City of Anaheim, and
notices of such puqlic hearing were duly given as required by
law and the provis~ons of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing
and did give all p~rsons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did rece~ve evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, ,the City Council does find, after careful
consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
that Conditional U$e Permit No. 1201 should be denied.
NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahei$ that the action of the City Planning Com-
mission denying COJllditional Use Permit No. 1201 be, and the same
is hereby sustained, and that the request of Tax Sheltered
Investments, Inc., as agent for Max F. and May E. Hiltscher,
owners, to establi$h a carwash with accessory gasoline sales on
the hereinbefore d.scribed property is denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 20th day of O~tober, 1970.
