AND WHEREAS, th~ City Planning Commission did hold
a public hearing at the Ci~y Hall in the City of Anaheim on
September 10 , 19 70, notice of which said public hearing
was duly given as required !by law and the provisions of Title
18, Chapter 18.76 of the A~aheim Municipal Code; and

WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due
inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its
behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports
offered at said he.ring, did adopt Resolution No. PC70-l64
Series 19____, qenying said Variance ; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty-two (22) days from
the date of the ad~ption of said resolution, a written appeal
was filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting
the action of the City Planning Commission den~ing said
variance, and said:appeal was set for public hear~ng on the 20th
day of October i ' 19 ~O , at 1~30 o'clock P.M. at the
City Hall in the City of Anahe~m, and notice of such public hear--
ing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of
Title 18, Chapter IB.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS,.after due investigation and studies made bv
itself and in its ~ehalf, and after due consideration of all the
evidence and reports offered at said hearing, the City Council
does find and determine that:
1. Thete is no substantial property right possessed
by other property in the same vicinity and zone
and denied the subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be
adetuately developed and used under the present
zon~.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission
in denying Variance No. 2198 to establish two freestanding signs
on the afore-described proDerty be and the same is hereby sustained.
THE FOREGOING HESOLUTION is a.?proved and signed by me
this 20th day of Oatober, 1970.
