A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELAT~$G TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT Tijt BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CSANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a pUblic hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 70-71-15 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 20Th day
of October , 19 70 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers in the City aall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

That parcel of land located in the County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City limit line of
the City of ~aheim, as established by the Yorba Annexa-
tion to the City of Anaheim, passed by Ordinance No. 1777,
November 13, 1962, filed with the Secretary of State
August 10, 1964, and recorded August 13, 1964, said point
of beginning being distant from the centerline intersec-
tion of La Palma Avenue and Imperial Highway, North 860 58'
18" West 596 feet, more or less, measured along the center-
line of said La Palma Avenue, said point of beginning also
being the point of intersection of the east line of Lot 1,
of Tract No. 925, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 29,
pages 42, 43 and 44 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California, with the centerline of said
La Palma Avenue; thence South 000 02' East 726 feet; more
or less, alon~ a portion of the said existing City limit
line of the City of Anaheim, being a portion of the east
line of Lot 1 of said Tract No. 925, and leaving the said
existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim, along the
east line of said Tract No. 925, and the southerly prolonga-
tion thereof to the southeasterly corner of that certain
parcel of land described as Parcel 3 in the deed recorded
February 26, 1970, in Book 9225, page 680 of Official
Records of Orange County, California; thence South 810 42'
00" West 1,401 feet, more or less, along the southerly
line of the land described in said Parcel 3 above mentioned,
to an intersection with the southerly line of said Tract
No. 925; thence following along a portion of the southerly
line of said Tract No. 925 the following courses and dis-
tances: North 440 53' 10" East 195 feet, more or less;
North 750 28' 30" East 329 feet, more or less, to an
intersection with the east line of Lot 3 of said Tract No.
925; thence North 00 19' 50" West 700 feet, more or less,
along a portion of the east line of Lot 3 of said Tract
No. 925 to an intersection with a line parallel with and
53 feet southerly of the centerline of La Palma Avenue,
said point of intersection being a point in a curve con-
cave southerly and having a radius of 1,947 feet, a radial
line bearing North 00 06' 30" West passes through said point
of intersection; thence Westerly and Southwesterly along
said parallel line, being a portion of said curve through a
central angle of 90 22' 5411 an arc distance of 318.8 feet
to an intersection with the west line of Lot 3 of said
Tract 925, a radial line bearing North 90 29' 24" West
passes through said point of intersection; thence North
00 15' 40" West 1,336 feet, more or less, along a portion
of the west line of Lot 3 of said Tract 925 and the north-
erly prolongation thereof, to an intersection with the
northerly right of way line of Orangethorpe Avenue, said
point of intersection being a point in the existing City
limit line of the City of Anaheim, as established by the
aforementioned Yorba Annexation to the City of Anaheim;
thence following along a portion of the existing City
limit line of the City of Anaheim, as established by said
Yorba Annexation, the following courses and distances:
South 780 18' East 988 feet, more or less, along a portion
of the northerly right of way line of said Orangethorpe
Avenue, to an intersection with a line bearing North 000
24' West and having a distance of 103 feet, more or less,
as established in said Yorba Annexation; thence South 000

24' East 103 feet, more or less, to an intersection with
the north line of Lot 1 of said Tract No. 925; thence
South 780 23' East 299 feet, along a portion of the north
line of Lot 1 of said Tract 925 to the northeast corner
of Lot 1 of said Tract 925; thence South 000 02' East
940 feet, mora or less, along a portion of the east line
of Lot 1 of said Tract 925 to the point of beginning.
be excluded from Cpunty of Orange, M-l Zone (10,000), to City of
Anaheim, M-l, Lighlt Industrial Zone, upon the following condi-
tions:
1. That de~cation shall be made to the City of Anaheim
on all sltreets within the area according to the
CirculatlLon Element of the General Plan - Highway
Rights o~ Way Map, prior to the adoption of ordinances
rezoning the properties.
2. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim $!Uch as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street
grading and paving, drainage facilities, or other
appurten~t work shall be complied with as required
by the CtLty Engineer, and in accordance with standard
plans and specifications on file in the Office of the
City Engineer, at the time the property is developed.
3. That the owner of subject properties shall install
street lighting on all streets within the area, as
required'by the Director of Public Utilities and in
accordanpe with standard plans and specifications on
file in the Office of the Director of Public Utilities
at the time the property is developed.
4. That a P~liminary Title Report shall be furnished
prior to the adoption of an ordinance rezoning the
property, showing legal vesting of title, legal des-
cription, and containing a map of the property.
5. That ordinances reclassifying the property shall be
adopted as each parcel is ready to comply with the
conditions pertaining to such parcel; provided, how-
ever, that the word "parcel" shall mean presently
existing parcels of record, or any parcel or parcels
approved by the City Council for a lot split.
6. That plans for development of subject property shall
be submitted to the Development Services Department
to dete~ne said development meets both the intent
and Site Development Standards of the M-l Zone.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and
determined to be necessary and proper.
