A RESOLUTIO~ OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAflEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NO. . ~bq? GIVEN SIX MONTHS FROM
AUGUST 10, 19 Tb MOVE OPERATIONS.
WHEREAS, th~ City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive . request for a conditional use permit from
R. H. and Theodora R~ Siege Ie to establish an existing rag and
paper salvage facility as a conforming use on M-l, LIGHT
INDUSTRIAL ZONE property located on the following described
property:
PARCEL 1:
The Westerly 51 feet of Lot 12 and the Northerly 32.47 feet
of the Westerly 57 feet of Lot 11, all in Block D of Heimann
& Sorrenson's 4ddition Building Lots, as shown on a Map
recorded in Bodk 3, page 144 of Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County, California.
PARCEL 2:
That portion of the l8-foot alley running Easterly and
Westerly through said Block D vacated by Order of the Board
of Trustees of the City of Anaheim on August 14, 1924,
through Resolutiion of Intention No. 181, dated April 10, 1924,
described as fol10ws:
Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of Lot 12 in Block D of
Heimann & Sorrenson's Addition Building Lots; thence Easterly
along the Northerly line of said Lot 12, 57 feet; thence
Northerly at right angles 9 feet; thence Westerly along a
line parallel with said Northerly line of Lot 12, 57 feet to
the Northerly prolongation of the Westerly line of said Lot
12; thence Southerly along said Northerly prolongation 9
feet to the point of beginning.
The Northerly 16 feet of the Westerly 57 feet of Lot 10 and
the Southerly 33.53 feet of the Westerly 57 feet of Lot 11,
all in Block D of Heimann and Sorrenson's Addition Building
Lots, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, page 144 of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of. Anaheim upon
said request on Au~st 10- ,19 70 ; notices of which said
public hearing were 1y given as required by law and the pro-
visions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code;
and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, inves-
tigation and studies ~de by itself and in its behalf and after
due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said
hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. PC 70-141 . ,
denvinq ConditiOnal Use Permit No. 1192 and qiven six
months to move pperations ; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty-two days from the
date of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council did
elect, upon its own motion, to review the action of the City
Planning Commission in n!fYi~ said conditional use

of the City of Anah~im as the place for a public hearing upon
said conditional use permit, and notices of such public hearing
were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title
18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim MUnicipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at, the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Copnci1 did duly hold and conduct such hear-
ing and did give all, persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, th~ City Council does

Theodora R. Siege1e to establish an existing rag and paper salvage
facility as a confor~ing use on M-l, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE property
is hereby denied; however, applicants shall have six months from
August 10, 1970, to move their operations.
