RESOLUTION NO. 70R-447
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
MAJORITY P~OTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE IN THE
PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UN-
INHABITED rERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS ORANGE - RED GID1
ANNEXATION.
~iHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
on the 21st day of July, 1970, receive a written petition asking
that certain territory described in said petition be annexed to
the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt Resolution No.
70R-402, designating the said proposed annexation as ORANGE -
RED GUM k~EXATION; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did fix the 15th day of
September, 1970, at the hour of 1:30 P.M., at the City Council
Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim, as the day,
hour and place when and where the City Council would hear pro-
tests made by the owner or owners of any real property within the
territory proposed to be annexed; and
vlliEREAS, notice of said hearing was published by the
City Clerk in accordance with the requirements of lawi and
WHEREAS, said hearing on protests was held on the 15th
day of September, 1970, and on said date said hearing was closed.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
does find and declare that a majority protest was not made at
said hearing.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 15th day of September, 1970.
