A RESOLUTIQN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AN~EIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELAT~NG TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT TaE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. ~0-7l-~ to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of t e Ana eim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said he~ring, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning commission the City Council did fix the 8tg day
of~epte~er , 19~ as the time, and the City ouncil
Ch ers 1n the City ~of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recammendation; and
WHEREAS, the city Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

All that certain land situated in the Rancho San Juan Cajon
de Santa Ana, described as follows, to wit:
That portion of Lot lO of the "Miles Rancho" as shown on a
map thereof recorded in book 4, page 7 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Or~nge County, California described as beginning
at a point on the South line of Lot 10, 163.00 feet Easterly
from the Southwest corner of said Lot 10; thence North 00
29' 10" West, parallel with the West line of said Lot 10,
l60.00 feet; thence North 890 42' 00" East, parallel with the
south line of Lot 10, 174.19 feet; thence South 00 24' 00"
East 160.00 feet to the South line of Lot 10; thence South
890 421 001i West 173.95 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM an undivided one-half interest in all

Beginning at a point on the South line of said Lot 10, north
890 42' 00 Ii East 163.00 feet from the south\'lest corner of

1. That trash storage ~reas s~a11 be provided in accord-
ance with aprroved plans on file with the Office of
the Director of Public Works.
2. That a 6-foot masonry wall shall be constructed alona
the west property line.
3. That all air-conditioning facilities shall be properly
shieldeo from view, and the sound buffered from
adjacent residences.
4. That any parking area lighting r'roposed shall be down-
lighting of a maximum height of 6 feet, which lighting
shall be directed away from the property lines to pro-
tect the residential integrity of the area.
5. That a parcel map to record the approved division of
sub:iect propert:' be submitted to and approved by the
City of Anaheim and then be recorded in the Office of
the Orange County Recorder.
6. That Condition No. .5, above mentioned, shall be complied
with prior to the commencement of the activity author-
ized under this resolution, or prior to the time that
the building permit is issued, or within a 1?eriod of
one year from the date hereof, whichever occurs first
or such further time as the City Council may grant.
7. That C~nditions Nos. I, 2, 3, and 4, above mentioned,
shall be complied 'vith prior to final building and
zoning inspections.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the
City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and deter-
mined to be necessary ard proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 8th day of September, 1970.
