~SOLUTION NO. 70R-420
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AN~EIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE ~8 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATItG TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT TH BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE C ANGED.
WHEREAS, th~ City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a pu~lic hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 70-71~5 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anahe~m Municipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and ~eports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning ~ommission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said heating, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be ad~pted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upcn receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 25th day
of August , 19. 70 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing ~pon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Coun~il did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing b~fore the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recom$endation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

That parcel of land located in the County of Orange, State
of California, described as follows:
Beginning at . point in the existing city limit line of the
City of Anahe~m as established by the Lakeview - Orangethorpe
Annexation pa~sed by Resolution No. 69R-240, April 22, 1969,
filed with th$ Secretary of State April 26, 1969 and recorded
May 1, 1969, tecords of Orange County, California, said point
of beginning ~eing distant from the centerline intersection
of Orangethorwe and Taylor Street, now known as Lakeview
Avenue, the fQllowing courses and distances, South 00 48'
16" East, 447 feet, more or less, South 820 27' 46" East, 690
feet as said ~ntersection is shown on a Record of Surveys
Map filed in $ook 37, page 25, records of Orange County,
California; thence
Following alo~g a portion of the existing city limit line of
the City of Maheim as established by the said Lakeview -
Orangethorpe ~nexation, being a portion of the southerly
line of the l~nd described in deed recorded August 12, 1964
in Book 7175, pages 493 through 495, records of Orange
County, Calif~rnia the following courses and distances,
South 820 27'46" East, 338.92 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave northwesterly and having a radius of
333 feet; thence northeasterly along said curve through a
central angle of 110 54' 10" an arc distance of 69.18 feet
to the point of intersection with the northerly line of the
land described in deed recorded December 6, 1957 in Book
4125, page 554, records of Orange County, California, a radial
line bearing South 40 41' 56" East, passes through said
point of inte~section; thence South 820 16' 20" East, 290.09
feet to an intersection with the westerly line of the land
described in deed recorded June 27, 1957 in Book 3955, page
279, records of Orange County, California, said point of
intersection being a point in the existing city limit line
of the City of Anaheim as established by the Northeast
Annexation No. 3 to the City of Anaheim passed by Ordinance
No. 1542, January 17, 1961, filed with the Secretary of State
July 10, 1964 and recorded July 13, 1964, records of Orange
County, California; thence
South 80 03' 40" West, 1,445 feet, more or less, leaving the
existing city limit line of the City of Anaheim as established
by said Lakeview - Orangethorpe Annexation and following along
a portion of the existing city limit line of the City of
Anaheim, as established by said Northeast Annexation No.3,
being a portion of the west line of the land described in the
last mentioned deed to an intersection with the northerly
line of the l~nd described in deed recorded May 22, 1951 in
Book 2191, page 307, records of Orange County, California;

along a portion of the last mentioned existing City of
Anaheim city limit being a portion of the northerly line of
the land described in the last mentioned deed to an inter-
section with the westerly line of the land described in the

deed to an intersection with the centerline of Taylor Street,

last mentione4 centerline to an intersection with the northerly

northerly lin~ of the land described in the last mentioned
deed to an intersection with the westerly line of the land

tion of the w~sterly line of the land described in the last
mentioned dee~ and the northerly prolongation thereof, to

District, and inco~porated in City of Anaheim M-1, Light Industrial
Zone, upon the fo1!owing conditions:
1. That ded~cation shall be made to the City of Anaheim on
all stre~ts within the area according to the Circulation
Element ~f the General Plan - Highway Rights-of-Way Map
and in a~cordance with Area Development Plan No. 102,
prior to the adoption of ordinances rezoning the proper-
ties.
2. That all engineering requirements of the City of Anaheim,
such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street grading and
paving, ~rainage facilities, or other appurtenant work
shall be complied with as required by the City Engineer,
and in accordance with standard plans and specifications
on file in the office of the City Engineer, at the time
the property is developed.
3. That the owner of subject properties shall install
street lighting on all streets within the area, as
required by the Director of Public Utilities and in
accordance with standard plans and specifications on
file in the office of the Director of Public Utilities,
at the time the property is developed.
4. That a P~e1iminary Title Report shall be furnished prior
to the adoption of an ordinance rezoning the property,
showing legal vesting of title, legal description,
and containing a map of the property.

5. That ordinances reclassifying the property shall be
adopted ~s each parcel is ready to comply with the
conditions pertaining to such parcel; provided, how-
ever, th~t the word "parcel" shall mean presently
existing parcels of record, or any parcel or parcels
approved by the City Council for a lot split.
6. That pla~s for the development of subject property
shall be submitted to and approved by the Development
Review C~mmittee of the Development Services Depart-
ment, on,the basis of compatibility of development,
both structurally and architecturally.
BE IT FU~THER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby autho~ized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to ~ccomp1ish the objects herein found and
determined to be n$cessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
