RESOLUTION NO. 70R-305
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND FIXING A DATE FOR
HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed ~nder the provisions of the Street Vacation
Act of 1941 in connection with a request for vacation and aban-
donment of certain real property hereinafter described with the
City retaining and reserving certain easements for public utility
purposes therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it hereby declares its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use portions of roadways,
alleys and easements as they may relate to the following described
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, and
State of California, to wit:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot One of Tract No.
1353, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 105, pages 122
through 126, inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California~ thence North 00 14' 05" East,
74.15 feet along the easterly line of said Lot One to the
northeasterly corner thereof~ thence South 560 45' 2911
East, 53.66 feet to an intersection with a line parallel
with and 20 feet easterly of the centerline of Sunkist
street~ thence South 00 14' OS" West, 84.95 feet to a
point, said point being a point in a line tangent to the
beginning of a curve concave southwesterly and having a
radius of 40 feet~ thence northerly and northwesterly
along said curve through a central angle of 890 43' 1211
an arc distance of 62.34 feet to an intersection with a
line parallel with and 30 feet northerly of the center-
line of Romneya Drive, as said centerline is shown on the
Map of said Tract No. 1353~ thence North 890 24' 0711 West,
5.23 feet to the point of beginning.
and it elects to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby
declares that it intends to reserve certain easements for public
utility purposes in connection with the requested vacation and
abandonment, details of which are on file in the Office of the
City Clerk for further particulars.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a time and place for hear-
ing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation and abandonment has been fixed on the 7th day of July,
1970, at 1:30 o'clock P.M. in the Council Chamber in the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim. -.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the
same to be published in a manner prescribed by law in the Anaheim
Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published
and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
