A RESOLUTIO~ OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AN~EIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE l8 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATI~G TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT TH~ BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, th~ City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. --~70-5~ to consider an amendment to
Title 18 or-the Ana eim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hea~ing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adQpted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 16th day
of June , 19 70 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers in the City uarr-of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Counci1 does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
shou1d be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the 20ne or 20nes as hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

That parcel of land located in the County of Orange, State
of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City limit line of the
City of Anahei~, as established by the La Palma - Rio Vista
Annexation to the City of Anaheim, passed by Ordinance No.
2211, November 9, 1965, filed with the Secretary of State,
December 14, 1965, and recorded December 20, 1965, in
official records of Orange County California, said point of
beginning beint the centerline intersection of La Palma
Avenue (now known as Frontera Street) and Rio Vista Street,
said point of beginning and centerline intersection also
being the nortbwestcorner of fractional Section 7, Township
4 South, Range 9 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa
Ana as shown on a Map filed in Book 51, page 10 of Misc-
ellaneous Maps, records of Orange County California; thence
North 10 03' 52" East, 64.66 feet, more or less, along a
portion of the said existing City limit line of the City of
Anaheim, being a portion of the centerline of said Rio Vista
Street and the northerly prolongation thereof, to an inter-
section with the southwesterly prolongation of the southerly
line of that certain parcel of land conveyed to the State of
California, described in deed recorded March 3, 1965, in Book
7431, pages 693 through 697, records of Orange County
California, said point of intersection being a point in the
existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim, as estab-
lished by the Blue Gum - Coronado Annexation to the City of
Anaheim, passed by Ordinance No. 2309, July 12, 1966, filed
with the Secretary of State, August 15, 1966, and recorded
August 22, 1966, in official records of Orange County
California; thence
Leaving the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim
as established by said La Palma - Rio Vista Annexation to
the City of Anaheim and follOWing along a portion of the
existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim as established
by the said Blue Gum - Coronado Annexation the following
courses and distances: North 510 41' 38" East, 192.51 feet,
more or less, along said prolongation to the most southerly
corner of the land described in the last mentioned deed to
the State of California; thence
North 510 41' 38" East, 277.90 feet, along the southerly line
of the land conveyed to the State of California in the last
mentioned deed to the southeast corner thereof; thence
North 380 18' 22" West, 20 feet, along a portion of the
easterly line of the last mentioned parcel of land conveyed
to the State of California to an intersection with the
northerly right of way line of La Palma Avenue ( 40f'eet wide)
said La Palma Av~nu~ being shown as an unnamed street lying
within Block 11 of the Golden State Tract as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 4, pages 66 and 67 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County California; thence
North 510 41' 38" East, 192.54 feet, more or less, along the
northerly right of way line of said La Palma Avenue (40 ,feet
wide) and the northeasterly prolongation thereof, to an
intersection with the west line of Lot 159 of the Eucalyptus
Forest Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, pages 29
and 30 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County
California, said point of intersection being a point in the

existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim, as estab _
lished by the La Palma - Miraloma Annexation passed by
Ordinance No. 2580l October 1, 1968, filed with the Secretary
of State November ~. 1968, and recorded November 11, 1968,
official records of Orange County California; thence
Leaving the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim
as established by the aforementioned Blue Gum - Coronado
Anne'xation and following along a portion of the existing City
limit line of the City of Anaheim as established by said La
Palma - Miraloma Annexation, the fOllowing courses and
distances:
South 160 17' lOO" East, 43 feet, more or less, along the
southerly prolongation of the west line of Lot 159 of said
Eucalyptus Forest Tract to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 20 feet southeasterly as measured at right
angles from the northwesterly line of Lot 22", Block K, of
the Kraemer Tr4\ct as shown on a Map recorded in Book 12,
pages 87 and 88 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County California; thence
North 510 24' 00" East, 887.01 feet, more or less, along the
last mentioned parallel line to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 20 feet southwesterly as measured at right
angles from the northeasterly line of Lot 22, Block K, of
the said Kraemer Tract; thence
South 600 50' 00" East, 525 feet, more or less, to an inter-
section with the westerly line of that certain parcel of
land described in Parcel Two in the deed recorded September
13, 1965, in Book 7663, page 786, records of Orange County
California; thence
Leaving the existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim
South 60 08' 00" East, 976 feet, more or less, along a portion
of the westerly line of the land described in Parcel Two in
the last mentl<:>ned deed to an intersection with the northerly
line of the land described in deed recorded January 13, 1967,
in Book 8152, pages 1 through 4, records of Orange County
California, said point of intersection being the point of
beginning of a curve concave northerly and having a radius
of 4,679 feet, a radial line bearing South 60 56' 16" West,
passes through said point, said point of intersection also
being the true point of beginning of the parcel of land
described in the last mentioned deed; thence
Westerly along a portion of said curve which has a central
angle of' 40 41 t 49" an arc distance of' 383.59 f'eet to an
intersection with a radial line bearing South 110 38' 05"
West, and said radial line passes through the southeast
corner of that certain parcel of land described in the deed
to the State of California, recorded June 11, 1964, in Book
7083, pages 32 through 35, records of Orange County California
as said radial line is shown on the Map of the La Palma -
Rio Vista Annexation to the City of Anaheim, said southeast
corner being in a curve concave northeasterly and having a
radius of 4,948 feet; thence
South 110 38' 05" West, 269.00 feet. more or less, along the
last mentioned radial line to the southeast corner of the
land described in the last mentioned deed to the State of

eXisting City limit line of the City of Anaheim as estab-
lished by the aforementioned La Palma - Rio Vista Annexa-
tion to the City of Anaheim; thence
Following along a portion of the existing City limit line of
the City of Anaheim as established by said La Palma - Rio
Vista Annexation.. being a portion of the southerly line and
the westerly line of the land described in the last mentioned
deed to the State of California.. the following courses and
distances:
Westerly along said curve concave northeasterly and having a
radius of 4.948 feet through a central angle of 80 47' 05"
an arc distancF of 758.64 feet; thence tangent to said curve,
North 690 34' 501t West.. 401.41 feet; thence North 760 10' 101t
West, 164.13 feet; thence South 510 36' 051t West, 31.28 feet;
thence North 880 56' 081t West.. 45 feet; thence North 10 03'
52" East.. 66.74 feet, more or less.. to the point of beginning.
be excluded from County of Orange M-l, Light Industrial Zone, and
incorporated in R-A.. Agricultural Zone, upon the following con-
dition:
1. That these reclassification proceedings are granted
subject to completion of annexation of subject property
to the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council ~ ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to aJccomplish the objects herein found and
determined to be ne'cessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 16th day of June, 1970.
