A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 69-70-43 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning commission the City Council did fix the 7th day
of April , 19 70 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anahe~ Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

That parcel of land located in the County of Orange, State
of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City limit line of
the City of Anaheim as established by the Placentia and
Cerritos Annexation to the City of Anaheim passed by Ordi-
nance 1380, September 8, 1959 and filed with the Secretary
of State October l3, 1959, said point of beginning being
distant from the centerline intersection of Katella Avenue
(formerly Struck Avenue) and Douglass Road the following
courses and distances, North 880 53' 5211 West l,469.32
feet, South 10 06' 0811 West 30 feet; thence
Leaving the said existing City limit line of the City of
Anaheim North lO 06' 0811 East 30 feet to the most southerly
corner of the line described in the deed to the State of
California recorded April 20, 1967, in Book 8229, pages
953 through 955, records of Orange County, California; thence
Following along a portion of the line described in the last
mentioned deed to the State of California the following
courses and distances, North 10 06' 0811 East 30 feet to a
point in a curve concave southerly having a radius of
1,060.00 feet, a radial line bearing North 120 33' 4211
West passes through said point; thence along said curve
easterly from a tangent which bears North 770 26' l8" East
through a central angle of 50 16' 1911 an arc distance of
97.53 feet to a reverse curve concave northwesterly having
a radius of 50 feet; thence along said reverse curve north-
easterly from a tangent which bears North 820 42' 3711
East through a central angle of 810 36' 29" an arc distance
of 71.22 feet; thence tangent to said last mentioned curve
North 10 06' 08" Eas t 150. 79 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave easterly, and having a radius of 200
feet; thence northeasterly along last mentioned curve, through
a central angle of 430 50' 4411 an arc distance of 153.05
feet to an intersection with a line parallel with and dis-
tant westerly 489.66 feet from the easterly line of Lot
5, the Travis Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5,
page 120 of Miscellaneous Records in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California; thence leaving
the line described in the last mentioned deed to said State
of California South 010 03' 1711 West 328.92 feet along the
last mentioned parallel line to an intersection with the
line described in the deed to the State of California, in
deed recorded September 18, 1964, in Book 7224, page 301,
records of Orange County, California, said point of inter-
section being a point in a curve concave southerly and
having a radius of 1,060 feet, a radial line bearing North
10 55' 2811 West passes through said point of intersection;

Following along a portion of the line described in the last
mentioned deed to the State of California, easterly along
the last mentioned curve through a central angle of 30 01'
3611 an arc distance of 56 feet, to an intersection with a
line parallel with and 60 feet northerly as measured at right
angles from the centerline of Katella Avenue (formerly known
as Struck Avenue); thence South 880 53' 52" East 23.78 feet
along said parallel line tangent to the last mentioned curve
to an angle point in the line described in the last men-

an intersection with the northerly line of the land described
in the Final Order of Condemnation to the County of Orange
recorded August 30, 1965, in Book 7648, pages 943 through

of the land described in the last mentioned Final Order of
Condemnation to an intersection with a line parallel with
and 20 feet westerly of the centerline of Douglass Road, as
the centerline of said Douglass Road is described in the deed

Following along the westerly line of said Douglass Road,
the centerline of which is described in the last mentioned deed

concave northwesterly and having a radius of 430 feet, a

line along said curve through a central angle of 2lo 49' 0711
an arc distance of l63.75 feet, more or less, to a line
tangent to said curve; thence

the last mentioned curve to an intersection with the easterly
line of Douglass Road, (formerly known as Collins Avenue)
being a point in a line parallel with and 30 feet easterly
of the centerline of said Douglass Road; thence

of the easterly line of the last mentioned Douglass Road
to an intersection with the easterly line of Lot 7 of the

existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim as established
by the aforementioned Placentia and Cerritos Annexation to

Following along the existing City limit line of the City of
Anaheim as established by the said Placentia and Cerritos
Annexation to the City of Anaheim the following courses and
distances, North 260 55' lO" East 370 feet, more or less,
along a portion of the east line of Lot 7 of said Travis
Tract to an intersection with a line parallel with and 30
feet southerly of the centerline of Katella Avenue (formerly
known as Struck Avenue); thence North 880 53' 5211 West
1,634 feet, more or less, along the last mentioned parallel
line to the point of beginning.
be excluded from COUNTY OF ORANGE A-I, GENERAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE,
and M-l LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE, and incorporated in CITY OF ANAHEIM
M-l LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE, subject to the following conditions:
l. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street
grading and paving, drainage facilities, or other
appurtenant work shall be complied with as required
by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard
plans and specifications on file in the Office of
the City Engineer, at the time the property is developed.

2. That dedication shall be made to the City of Anaheim
on all streets within the area, according to the
Circulation Element of the General Plan "Highway
Rights-of-Way, II prior to the adoption of the ordi-
nances rezoning the property.
3. That the owner of subject property shall install
street lighting on all streets within the area, as
required by the Director of Public Utilities at the
time the property is developed.
4. That a preliminary title report shall be furnished
prior to the adoption of an ordinance rezoning the
property, showing legal vesting of title, legal
description, and containing a map of the property.
5. That ordinances reclassifying the property shall
be adopted as each parcel is ready to comply with
conditions pertaining to such parcel, provided, how-
ever, that the word "parcell! shall mean presently
existing parcels of record and any parcel or parcels
approved by the City Council for a lot split.
BE IT FURTHER RESQLVED that the City Attorney be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit
to the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and determined
to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
