A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 69-70-39' to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 31st day
of March , 19 70 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

That parcel of land located in the County of Orange, State
of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City limit line of the
City of Anaheim as established by the Northeast Annexation
No. 3 to the City of Anaheim, passed by Ordinance No. 1542,
January 17, 1961, filed with the Secretary of State July 10,
1964 and recorded July 13, 1964 in Official Records of Orange
County, California, said point of beginning being distant North
890 48' 10" East 30 feet from the centerline intersection of
La Palma Avenue (formerly known as Walnut Street) and Fee Ana
Street, as said intersection is shown on a Record of Survey
Map filed in Book 79, page 1 of Records of Surveys in the Office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County, California; thence
North 0 0 II' 50" Wes t 398. 35 feet along a portion of said exis ting
City limit line of the City of Anaheim, being a line parallel
with and 30 feet Easterly of the centerline of said Fee Ana
Street, to an intersection with the South line of the North
143.52 feet of Lot 13, Block 36 of the Yorba Linda Tract, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, pages 17 and 18 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence
North 890 48' 10" East 617.00 feet continuing along a portion
of the said existing City limit line of the City of Anaheim,
being a portion of the South line of the North 143.52 feet
of Lot 13, Block 36 of said Yorba Linda Tract to an intersection
with the Westerly line of the land described in deed recorded
October 14, 1966 in Book 8075, page 782 of Official Records
of Orange County, California; thence
South 00 II' 50" Eas t 451. 35 feet Ie aving the said exis ting
City limit line of the City of Anaheim, following along the
Westerly line of the land described in the last mentioned deed
and the Southerly prolongation thereof to an intersection with
a line parallel with and 53 feet Southerly of the centerline
of the aforementioned La palma Avenue (formerly known as Walnut
S tree t); thence
North 890 48' 10" East 196.13 feet along said parallel line
to an intersection with the Westerly line of the parcel of
land designated as Parcel 3 shown on a Record of Survey Map
filed in Book 79, page 1 of Record of Surveys in the office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County, California; thence
North 00 II' 50" West 23.00 feet along a portion of the Westerly
line of the last mentioned parcel of land to an intersection
wi th a line parallel with and 30 feet Southerly of the centerline
of said La Palma Avenue; thence
North 990 49' 10" East:. 194.00 feet along the last mentioned
parallel line to an intersection with the Westerly line of
the land described in deed recorded March 30, 1960 in Book
5170, page 107 of Official Records of Orange County, California;
thence
South 00 11' 50" East 432.00 feet along the Westerly line of
the land described in the last mentioned deed to the South-
westerly corner of said land; thence
South 890 48' 10" West 1007.13 feet along a line parallel with
the centerline of the aforementioned La palma Avenue to an
intersection with a line parallel with and 30 feet Easterly
of the centerline of said Fee Ana Street, said point of inter-
section being a point in the existing City limit line of the
City of Anaheim, as established by the aforementioned Northeast
Annexation No.3; thence

parallel line being a portion of the said existing City of
Anaheim City limit line to the true point of beginning.
be excluded from R-A AGRICULTURAL ZONE and incorporated in M-
1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE, subject to the following conditions:
1. That all engineering requirements of the City of Anaheim,
such as curbs, and gutters, sidewalks, street grading
and paving, drainage facilities, or other appurtenant
work shall be complied with as required by the City
Engineer and in accordance with standard plans and
specifications an file in the Office of the City Engineer,
at the time the property is developed.
2. That dedication shall be made to the City of Anaheim
on all streets within the area, according to the Cir-
culation Element of the General plan "Highway Rights
of Way," prior to the adoption of ordinances rezoning
the property.
3. That a preliminary title report shall be furnished
prior to the adoption of an ordinance rezoning the
property, showing ~egal vesting of title, legal des-
cription, and containing a map of the property.
4. That ordinances reclassifying the property shall be
adopted as each parcel is ready to comply withcondi-
tions pertaining to such parcel; PROVIDED, HOWEVER,
that the word IIparcel" shall mean presently existing
parcels of record, and any parcel or parcels approved
by the City Council for a lot split.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be,
and he is hereby authori zed and directed to prep.areand submit
to the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to apcomplish the objects herein found and determined
to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
