A RESO~UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAaEIM INITIATING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS
FOR LAPALMA-LAKEVIEW NO. 6 ANNEXATION TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AND FIXING A TIME, DATE AND
PLACE QF HEARING OF SAID PROPOSED ANNEXATION
PURSUANT TO SECTION 35220 OF THE GOVERNMENT
CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, a resolution for the proposed annexation
designated La Palma~Lakeview No. 6 Annexation to the City of
Anaheim in the County of Orange was heretofore filed by the City
of Anaheim and accepted for filing July 26, 1983, by the Executive
Officers of the Local Agency Formation Commission pursuant to Part
2 of Title 4, Division 2, commencing with Section 35000 et seq. of
the Government Code; and
WHEREA$, the distinctive short form designation
assigned by the Com~ission to the territory proposed to be annexed
is: LA PALMA-LAKEVtEW NO. 6 ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM; and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to the
City of Anaheim consists of two non-contiguous parcel of land
comprised of a total of approximately 223 acres of land in the
County of Orange, a~d the exterior boundaries thereof are specifi-
cally described in the legal description attached hereto and by
this reference made a part hereof; and
WHEREA$, the Commission has heretofore determined in
its Resolution No. 83-56, adopted on August 24, 1983, that the
territory proposed to be annexed is uninhabited; and
WHEREA$, the reasons for the proposed annexation to
the City of Anaheim as set forth in the proposal thereof submitted
to the Commission by the City of Anaheim are as follows:
1. Request by one of the owners of said unincorporated
territory for annexation to the City of Anaheim.
2. To provide full municipal services to an unincorpor-
ated area proposed for development.
WHEREAS, the Commission's Resolution No. 83-56,
making determinations, set forth the following terms and con-
ditions of said proposed annexation:

1. The boundaries of the territory proposed to be
annexed to the City of Anaheim are specifically described in the
legal description attached to said Commission Resolution and by
such reference made a part thereof. Said territory is found to be
uninhabited and is assigned the following short term designation:
LA PALMA-LAKEVIEW NO. 6 ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
2. The City of Anaheim is designated as the conducting
authority and the City Council thereof is directed to initiate
annexation proceedings in compliance with said Commission
Resolution.
3. Any election called upon the question of confirming
an order for annexa~ion shall be called, held and conducted upon
such annexation only within the territory ordered to be annexed.
4. The City of Anaheim, as applicant, shall be liable
for and pay all proper expenses incurred in conducting proceedings
for the annexation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Anaheim does hereby initiate pro-
ceedings pursuant to Section 35220 of the Government Code for the
annexation of the hereinabove described territory to the City of
Anaheim.
2 That November 8, 1983, at the hour of l:30 p.m. in
the Council Chambers of the Anaheim Civic Center, 200 South
Anaheim Boulevard, A~aheim, California, is hereby fixed as the
time and place when and where the City Council will hear and
resolve any oral and written protests, objections, or evidence
which shall be made, presented or filed relating to said proposed
annexation.
3. That any owner of land within the territory proposed
to be annexed may fi~e a written protest against the annexation
with the City Clerk 9f the City of Anaheim at any time prior to
the conclusion of th~ City Council's hearing on the proposed
annexation. Each protest shall state the name and address of the
owner of the land affected and the street address or other des-
cription sufficient to identify the location of such land.
Protests may be made on behalf of a private corporation which is
an owner of land by any officer or employee of the corporation
without written authorization by the corporation to act as agent
in making such protest.
4. The City Clerk shall cause this notice of the hearing
on the proposed annexation to be given as provided in Sections
35222 and 35223 of the Government Code of the State of California.

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the Ci ty Council of the Ci ty of Anaheim this 27thday of September ,
1983.

the County of Orange, State of California, more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary line of the City
of Anaheim, as said angle paint was established by the "Peralta Hills
No. 2 Annexation" and "Northeast No. 3 Annexation" to said City of
Anaheim; thence along said axisting boundary line of the City of Anaheim
per "Northeast No.3 Annexation," per "Fee Ana Street Annexation," per
"La Palma-Fee Ana Annexation," per "La Palma-Lakeview No.3 Annexation,"
per "La Palma-Lakeview No.2 Annexation," per "La Palma-Lakeview No.4
Annexation," per "La Palma-Lakeview No. 1 Annexation," per "Warner
Lambert Annexation," per "La Palma-Lakeview No.5 Annexation," per
"East-La Palma Annexation," per "Orangethorpe-La Palma Annexation," per
"Yorba No.2 Annexation," per "Yorba Annexation," and per said "Peralta
Hills No. 2 Annexation" in a general Northerly, Easterly, Southerly and
Westerly direction to the Point of Beginning.
PARCEL 2:
That certain parcel of land located in the unincorporated territory of
the County of Orange, State of California, more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary line of the City
of Anaheim, said angle point being the Northeast corner of ttlli" "La Palma-
Fee Ana Annexation," ~J> the City of Anaheim; thence along said existing
boundary line of said city p~r"Northeast No.3 Annexation," ~er "La Palma-
Lakeview No.2 Annexation," per "La Palma-Lakeview No.3 Annexation," per
said "La Palma-Fee Ana Annexation," in a general Easterly, Southerly,
Westerly and Northerly direction to the Point of Beginning.
The above described parcels of land contain 223 acres, more or less.
