RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY PF ANAHEIM;,
CALIFORN1f\, AUTHORIZING CERTAIN
OF ITS ~ERS TO FILE WRITTEN
ARGUMENTS! FOR CITY MEASURES.
WHEREAS;, an election is to be held in the City of
Anaheim
April 14, 1970, at which there
on
will be submitted to the qualified electors of said city
the following city measures:
PROPOSITION C (CITY HALL)
For the acquis!ition and construction of a
City Hall (loclation unspecified), the plant-
ing and landsdaping of grounds and provision
for vehicle p~rking therefor and including
furniture, fupnishings, apparatus, equipment
and other property necessary therefor, shall
the City of Adaheim incur a bonded indebted-
ness in the principal amount of eight million
dollars,
PROPOSITION E (ELECTRIC REVENUE BONDS)
To acquire, canstruct- and finance additions
to and improv~ments of the works of the City
for supplying the City and its inhabitants
with electric energy, shall the City of
Anaheim issue electric revenue bonds in the
principal amo4nt of eight million six hundred
fifty thousand dollars?

PROPOSITION D (STORM DRAIN BONDS)
To acquire and construct storm drains with
appurtenances and appurtenant works;, shall
the City of An~heim incur a bonded indebted-
ness in the principal amount of four million
five hundred tbousand dollars?
PROPOSITION L (LIBRARY BONDS)
For the acquisition and construction of two
branch public libraries and additions and
improvements to the existing branch public
library, inclu4ing the planting and land-
scaping of the library grounds, provision
for vehicle patking, initial book stock,
furniture;, fixtures, equipment and other
property neces$ary therefor, and for the
acquisition of real property for two additional
branch librari~s, shall the City of Anaheim
incur a bonded indebtedness in the principal
amount of eight hundred fifty thousand
dollars?
PROPOSITION P (PARK BONDS)
For the acquisition of land for park sites
and the acquisttion and construction of
park improveme~ts and public recreational
facilities, sh_ll the City of Anaheim incur
a bonded indebtedness in the principal
amount of thre~ million six hundred eighty-
five thousand ~ollars?

NOW I THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Anaheim
, Ca.lifomia, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE1 DETER-
MINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That this City Council, being the legis-
lative body of said c~ty, hereby authorizes

members of said body, to file written arguments for each of
the city measures set forth in the recitals hereof in accord-
ance with Article 4, Chapter 3, Division 4 of the Elections
Code of the State of California and to change said arguments
until and including the date fixed by the City Clerk after
which no arguments for or against said city measures may be
submitted to said Clerk.
