A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 69-70-26 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 6th day
of Janua;y , 19 70 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers 1n the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

That certain parcel of land located in the County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the existing City limit line
of the City of Anaheim as established by the Orange
Avenue Annexation to the City of Anaheim, passed by
Ordinance No. 914, August 10, 1954 filed with the
Secretary of State October 18, 1954, said point of
beginning being distant from the Southeast corner
of Section 18, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B. & M., the following courses and distances:
North 00 40' 06" East 1,575.99 feet, South 890 57' 48"
West 30 feet, the Southeast corner of said Section 18
for the purpose of this description being the c/l
intersection of Brookhurst Street and Ball Road, as
said interseotion is shown on a Map of Tract Number
2295 recorded in Book 62, pages 7 and 8 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California;

Leaving the said existing City limit line of the City
of Anaheim South 890 57'48" West 410 feet to the North-
west corner of Lot 4 of the aforementioned Tract Number
2295; thence North 00 40' 06" East 198 feet to the North-
east corner of Lot 8 of said Tract 2295; said North-
east corner of Lot 8, also being a point in the North
line of the land described in the deed recorded July
2, 1963 in Book 6315 page 260, official records of
Orange County California; thence
Following along a portion of the North line of the
land described in the last mentioned deed North 890
57' 48" East 410 feet to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 30 feet Westerly of the c/l of Brook-
hurst Street, said point of intersection being a
point in the existing City limit line of the'City of
Anaheim as established by the aforementioned Orange
Avenue Annexation; thence
Following along a portion of the said existing City
limit line of'the City of Anaheim, be.ing the last
mentioned parallel line South 00 40' 06" West 198 feet
to the point of beginning.
be excluded from ORANGE COUNTY C-l, LOCAL BUSINESS ZONE, and
incorporated in C-l, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE upon the following
condi tion: '
That this reclassification proceeding shall be sub-
ject to the completion of annexation of subject
property to the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and
determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FORE<;OING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
