RESOLUTI.ON NO. 69R- 7%
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED AND
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim required the dedication
of the ultimate right of way for Euclid Street as set forth in
the easement deed towards which this resolution is directed; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the real property involved and
the lessee thereof have tendered an easement deed covering said
ultimate right of way for a total consideration of $1,182.60;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the
best interests of the City to make such payment and accept such
deed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anahefm that it accept and it does hereby accept
that certain easement deed dated August 4, 1969 covering the
following described property;
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the Northwest quarter
of the Northwest quarter of Section 9, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa
Ana, as indicated on a Map of Survey filed in Book 1,
page 56 of Record of Surveys, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, described as follows;
Conunencing at the Northwest corner of said Section 9,
said corner being the centerline intersection of Euclid
Street and La Palma Avenue; thence Southerly along the
West line of said Section, 167.92 feet to the True Point
of Beginning; thence South 890 45' 22" East to a point
in a line parallel with and distant Easterly 53.00 feet
(measured at right angles) from said West line; thence
Southerly along said parallel line, 181.70 feet, more or
less, to a point in the South line of the land conveyed to
Albert Maslon et aI, by deed recorded April 20, 1962 in
Book 6082, page 331 of Official Records of said county;
thence Westerly along said South line to a point in said
West line of Section 9; thence Northerly along said West
line, 181.70 feet to the True Point of Beginning.
EXCEPTING therefrom the Westerly 40 feet included within
said Euclid street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and she
is hereby authorized and directed to cause said easement deed to
be recorded.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director
be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to draw a warrant in
the amount of $1,181.05 payable to Howard Engelman, Albert Maslon
and Ben Heller - said warrant to be mailed to HEM Properties,
Suite 1011, 9255 SUnset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90069,
and to draw a warrant in the amount of $1.55 payable to J. Wylie
Carlyle, County Recorder, said latter warrant to be delivered to

the Right of Way Division for transmittal; each of said warrants
are to be charged to Work Order 1085a.
