A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY-
ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROP-
ERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES. (R/W #2800-2)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ADOLF PHILIP MILLER to sell
to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for an easement for road and public
utility purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portion of Lot 53 of the
Original "Town Lots," of Anaheim, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and 630 of Deeds,
records of Los Angeles County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of said Lot 53;
thence S 74 degrees 30' 00" W along the northerly
line of said Lot 53, 0.93 feet to a point on a
non-tangent curve, said point having a radial line
through it bearing S. 77 degrees 16' 57" W, said
curve being concave Westerly and having a radius of
762.66 feet; thence Southerly along said curve
through a central angle of 3 degrees 26' 22" an arc
distance of 45.78 feet to a point, said point having
a radial line bearing N 80 degrees 43' 19" E through
it, said point also being the beginning of a curve
concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 1,482
feet; thence Southerly along said curve through a
central angle of 4 degrees 42' 01" an arc distance of
121.58 feet to a point, said point having a radial
line bearing S. 76 degrees 01' 18" W through it, said
point also being the beginning of a curve concave
Northwesterly and having a radius of 15.00 feet;

thence Southerly and Westerly along said curve
through a central angle of 88 degrees 28' 42" an arc
distance of 23.16 feet to a point in the Southerly
line of said Lot 53; thence N 74 degrees 30' 00" E
along said Southerly line; 27.72 feet; thence N 15
degrees 30' 00" W along the Easterly line of said Lot
53, 181.50 feet to the point of beginning,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be
construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the
City street system (Section 1806, Streets and Highways Code).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a
warrant and pay to the owner of said real property, out of General
Funds of the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No.
l3-792-7l0l-E2580 the sum of Twenty One Thousand Eight Hundred
Dollars ($21,800.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 10th day of May, 1983.
