RESOLUTION NO. 84R-IOl
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING CERTAIN ACCESS RIGHTS TO
PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF
STATE COLLEGE BOULEVARD AND SYCAMORE STREET.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate
certain public streets, highways or public service easements
pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements
Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law;
and
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of March, 1984, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, from the evidence
submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement
hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for present or
prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation
facilities.
WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place
public utility facilities in use for which easements are not
reserved and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby
determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that
no easements be reserved for such facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of vehicular
access rights, more specifically described as follows:
That portion of the Vehicular Access Rights in and to
Sycamore Street in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California and acquired by the City
of Anaheim by a grant deed executed by Marion E.
Moore and H.B. Lear, shown as parcel 2, recorded in
Book 6420, page 886, Official Records of said Orange
County, also shown on Tract No. 1246 recorded on
February 7, 1962 as per map filed in Book 155, pages
27 and 28, Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of the
County Recorder of said Orange County from that
portion shown as "Not a part of this tract" as
indicated on said Tract Map, more particularly
described as follows:

That portion of the northwest quarter of Section 12,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West in the Rancho San
Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as per map recorded in Book
51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of
the County Recorder of said Orange County, described
as follows:
PARCEL 2:
Beginning at a point which is S 00 07' 30" W, 521.53
feet and N 890 52' 05" E, 65.48 feet from the
northwest corner of said northwest quarter; thence
continuing N 890 52' 05" E, l04.42 feet; thence N 00
07' 30" E, 2.80 feet to a point of intersection with
a non-tangent curve concave southerly having a radius
of 283.77 feet a radial line through which point
bears N 30 15' 45" E; thence Westerly along said
curve through a central angle of 30 23' 40" and a
length of l6.81 feet to the beginning of a tangent
line; thence along said tangent line S 890 52' 05" W,
75.26 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave southeasterly having a radius of 25.00 feet;
thence westerly and southwesterly along said curve
through a central angle of 290 46' 37" and a length
of 12.99 feet to the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 13th day of March, 1984.
