A RESOLUTI~N OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIMIGRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
NO. 2616.

PARCEL 14 IN THf CITY OF ANAHEIM, OF A MAP FILED IN
BOOK 168 PAGE 2r OF PARCEL MAPS OF THE OFFICE OF THE
COUNTY RECORDER I OF SAID COUNTY; and
WHEREAS, tie City Planning Commission did hold a public
hearing upon said ap lication at the City Hall in the City of
Anaheim, notices of hich public hearing were duly given as
required by law and he provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.03 of
the Anaheim Municipai Code; and
WHEREAS, Sl" id Commission, after due inspection,
investigation and stdies made by itself and in its behalf and
after due considerat on of all evidence and reports offered at
said hearing, did ad pt its Resolution No. PC84-l8l granting
Conditional Use Perm t No. 2616; and
WHEREAS, t~ereafter, within the time prescribed by law,
an interested party rr the City Council, on its own motion,
caused the review of: said Planning Commission action at a duly
noticed public heari~g; and
WHEREAS, a~. the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Co n. cil did duly hold and conduct such hearing
and did give all per ons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receiv evidence and reports; and

WHEREAS, t~e City Council finds, after careful consi-
deration of the reco .. endations of the City Planning Commission
and all evidence and,reports offered at said hearing, that:
1. The proposr'd use is properly one for which a conditional
use permit is author,zed by the Anaheim Municipal Code.
2. The propos,d use will not adversely affect the adjoin-
ing land uses and th~ growth and development of the area in which
it is proposed to bel located.

3. The size aFd shape of the site proposed for the use is
adequate to allow th; full development of the proposed use in a
manner not detriment,l to the particular area nor to the peace,
health, safety and g~neral welfare.
4. The traffit' generated by the proposed use will not
impose an undue burd n upon the streets and highways designed and
improved to carry th, traffic in the area.
5. The grantipg of the conditional use permit under the
conditions imposed wJll not be detrimental to the peace, health,
safety and general w~lfare of the citizens of the City of Anaheim.
6. Twenty-nin~ on-site vehicle parking spaces are adequate
for such use based u~on the parking demand study submitted for
such use pursuant to/Section 18.06.050.02555 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code.
NOW, THERE lORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim hat, for the reasons hereinabove stated, the
action of the City Panning Commission granting said conditional
use permit be, and t e same is hereby, affirmed and that
Conditional Use Perm t No. 2616 be, and the same is hereby,
granted permitting a! gymnastics training center with 29 on-site
parking spaces for s~ch use on the hereinabove described real
property, subject to!the following conditions:

That a traffic i'~,'gnal assessment fee equaling the difference
between the ind strial and commercial assessment fees shall
be paid to the ity of Anaheim in an amount as determined by
the City Counci~.
That fire sprin.,.lers shall be installed as required by the
City Pire Marsh;ll.

That trash stort'ge areas shall be provided in accordance
with approved pans on file with the Street Maintenance and
Sanitation Divi ion. .
4.
That due to the!change in use and/or occupancy of the
building, PlanSti,8hall be submitted to the Building Division
showing compliace with the minimum standards of the City of
Anaheim, includ ng the Uniform Building, Plumbing,
Electrical, Mecanical and Fire Codes as adopted by the City
of Anaheim. Th appropriate permits shall be obtained for
any necessary w~rk.
5. That the propos.l shall comply with all signing requirements
of the ML Zone, 'unless a variance allowing sign waivers is
approved by the!Planning Commission or City Council.

6. That subject prpperty shall be developed substantially in
accordance with, plans and specifications on file with the
City of Anahei~ marked Exhibit Nos. 1 and 2.
7.
That prior to cpmmencement of the activity authoried under
this resolutionj, or prio:r to issuance of a building permit
is issued, or wlithin a period of one year from the date of
this resolutionf, whichever occurs first, Condition Nos. 1
and 4, above-m~tioned, shall be complied with. Extensions
for further ti. to complete said conditions may be granted
in accordance w.ith Section 18.03.090 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code.

8. That prior to ~e commencment of the activity authorized
under this res~lution, or final building and zoning
inspections, W,j;CheVer occurs first, Condition Nos. 2, 3 and
6, above-menti ned, shall be complied with. "
9. That all activ~ties sha1l be conducted wholly inside the
building.
10. That 29 vehicl~ parking spaces shall be maintained on the
premises at al~ times for the employees and customers of the
proposed use.
11. That this use germit shall expire on October 16, 1987.
BE IT FUR1$ER RESOLVED that the City Coudcil does

conditions, or any art thereof, be declared invalld or
unenforceable by th~ final judgment of any court of competent
jurisdiction, then .his Resolution, and any approvals herein

THE FOREG.~NG RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
City Council of the~City of Anaheim this 16th day of October,
1984.
