A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN
PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT AT 1751 SOUTH STATE
COLLEGE BOULEVARD AND 1801 KATELLA AVENUE
(Abandonment No. 2004-00098)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by Resolution No. 2004-
247, duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate certain public streets, highways or public service
easements pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said vacation was posted and
published in the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of January, 2005, a public hearing was held to allow
interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed vacation.
WHEREAS, the abandonment approved herein does not convey right, title and
interest to the abandoned property, which is conveyed by separate quitclaim deed pursuant
hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of a portion of that certain 5 foot public utility easement
recorded on August 12, 1974, in Book 11218, Page 1567 of Official Records ofthe County of
Orange, and the abandonment of a fire protection vault easement recorded April 29, 1975, in Book
11389, Page 222 of Official Records of the County of Orange, lying within the boundaries of
Parcels 1 and 2 of Parcel Map No. 85-214, generally known as 1751 S. State College Boulevard.
and 1801 Katella Avenue, respectively.
See Exhibit "A", attached hereto, for the legal description of the foregoing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this Resolution
shall not be effective until a certified copy of this Resolution is recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby,
authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of
the Recorder of the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 25th day of January , 2005, by the following roll-call
vote:

Legal Description
That certain real property in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows:
1. That certain public utility easement for the installation and
maintenance of underground electrical conduit and related
electrical facilities described in a Corporation Easement Deed
recorded August 12, 1974 in Book 11218, Page 1567 of
Official Records of Orange County.
2. That certain easement for the installation and maintenance of a
fire protection vault and related equipment described in a
Corporation Easement Deed recorded April 29, 1975 in Book
11389 Page 222 of Official Records of Orange County.
