78-539 c.-., ~ .-, RESOLUTION NO. 78R-539 A RESOLUT~ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF,ANAHEI REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO CONSOL DATE A SPEC~ MUNICIPAL ELECTION OF THE CITY F ANAHEIM WITH THE STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 7, 1978, PUR- SUANT TO ECTION 23302 OF THE ELECTIONS CODE OF THE ST TE OF CALIFORNIA. WHEREAS, ~ection 23302 of the Elections Code of the State of California,.provides that an election called by a city to submit to the el ctorate questions or propositions may be consolidated with a,statewide election if the city at least seventy-four (74) d~ys prior to the date of the election files wi th the Board of S pervisors, and a copy with the County Clerk, a resolution of the,City Council requesting the consolidation and setting forth ~e exact form of the questions or the proposi- tions to be voted u~on1 and WHEREAS, te City Council of the City of Anaheim desires to submit 't. the electorate of the City of Anaheim propositions to ame.d the Charter of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THE~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim 1 that it does hereby request the Board of Supervisors of the ~ounty of Orange to consolidate a special election of the Cit1 of Anaheim with the general statewide elec- tion to be held on ,ovember 7, 1978.
