RESOLUTION NO. 78R- 514
A RESOLUTMON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEI DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
AND ABAN N CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS AND FIXING
A DATE FO A HEARING THEREON.

WHEREAS, !he City Council of the City of Anaheim does
hereby elect to pro eed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 194. (Section 8300 et seq., Street.s and Highway
Code) in connection with requests for vacation and abandonment
of public streets 1 cated within the City of Anaheim.

NOW, THER,FORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Ci ty Council
of the City of Anah,im does hereby declare its intention to
vacate, abandon andiclose to public use the following described
streets, to wit: '
A portioniof Oak Street, extending from the west
line of H lena Street, to a point approximately
133 feet esterly thereof; and
I
A portion~IOf Helena Street extending from the
south lin of Lincoln Avenue to the south line
of Oak St eet, said portion being an irregularly
shaped po ion approximately 20 feet wide on
the southJdiminishing in width to the south line
of Lincol~ Avenue; and
An irregU~arlY-Shaped portion of Lincoln Avenue
located a the southwest corner of the intersec-
tion of L ncoln Avenue and Helena Street, approxi-
mately 10 [feet in width and approximately 30 feet
in length~
as said streets arelshown on a map or plan on file in the Office
of the City Clerk o~ the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FUR~HER RESOLVED that these proceedings are under-
taken subject to th following reservations and exceptions in
favor of the follow ng persons or parties:
An easement fOi sanitary sewer purposes, 15" feet in
width, lying p rallel with and 7.5 feet on each side
of the centerl ne of Oak Street over 1 and 2 above-
described, in avor of the City of Anaheim.

BE IT FURtHER RESOLVED that all persons interested in
or objecting to sai~ vacation and abandonment will be heard at
a public hearing toibe held at 3:00 o'clock P.M., or as soon
thereafter as the mitter may be heard, in the Council Chamber in
the City Hall, 204 tast Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California, on:
August 29, 1978
BE IT FUijHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify
to the passage of is resolution and shall cause the same to be
published in the An heim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circula-
tion, printed, publ shed and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
