RESOLUTION NO. 78R-767
A RESOLUTI~N OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DETERMINING THAT A CERTAIN PUBLIC
STREET SHOULD BE ABANDONED AND ESTABLISHING
CONDITIONS PRECEDENT TO SAID ABANDONMENT.

WHEREAS, tije City Council of the Ctiy of Anaheim has
elected to proceed urtder the provisions of the Street Vacation
Act of 1941 (Section 8300 et seq., Streets and Highways Code) in
connection with requEists for vacation and abandonment of public
streets within the city of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, give notice of its intention to abandon the follow-
ing described public street; to wit, Fee Ana Street (hereinafter
Street) more specifidally described as follows:
That portion of ,Fee Ana Street, sixty (60) feet wide,
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, bouqded on the North by the northerly
line and the easterly prolongation of the northerly
line of the land described in Deed to Conrock Co.,
recorded August 1, 1974, in Book 11211, page 392,
Official Records of said Orange County and bounded
on the South by the northerly toe of the slope of
the North levee of the Santa Ana River, said north-
erly toe of the slope being the northerly boundary
of a previous Fee Ana Street abandonment, recorded
August 13, 1963, in Book 6673, page 347, Official
Records of said Orange County; and
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of December, 1978, a public hear-
ing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concern-
ing said proposed abaindonment; and
WHEREAS, thle City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find from the evidenc€ submitted to it that said Street is unneces-
sary for present or prospective public use; and
WHEREAS, th~ City Council has further determined that
certain conditions m~t be met prior to making of an order vacating
and abandoning said Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does determine that said Street should be aban-
/...-.. doned and vacated subject to the following conditions:
1. Construction of a cul-de-sac at the new terminus of
Fee Ana Street, said plans to be approved by the City Engineer
prior to construction.

2. Annexation of sufficient land to the City of Anaheim to
construct said cul-de-sac.
3. Conveyance of an easement to the City of Anaheim for
road and public util~ty purposes over, under and across said cul-
de-sac.

BE IT FURT$:R RESOLVED that should the conditions set
forth in the precediqg paragraph be fulfJlled within one hundred
eighty (180) days of the date of this Resolution, the City Council
will make its order vacating and abandoning said Street.
BE IT FURT!tER RESOLVED that should all of said conditions
not be fulfilled witti.1n said one hundred eighty (180) days or such
further time as the dity Council may grant, then this Resolution
shall terminate, and 'resort shall be had to a new and separate
proceeding.
THE FOREGO~NG RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the Oity of Anaheim this 5th day of December, 1978.
