A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM OF THE TERRITORY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED
FRONTERA NO. 3 ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, said Local Agency Formation Commission
authorized the City of Anaheim to annex said territory with-
out notice and hearing and without an election pursuant to
the authority vested in said Commission by Section 54797.1
of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to
said City of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange,
State of California, and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim,
and is uninhabited territory. That said consent contained a
description of said territory in words and figures as herein-
after in this resolution described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
authorized to approve said annexation by resolution without
notice and hearing pursuant to the approval of said Local
Agency Formation Commission and Section 54797.1 of the Govern-
ment Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim finds:
That the City of Anaheim submitted proof satisfactory
to the Local Agency Formation Commission that all of the owners
of land within the territory proposed to be annexed have given
their signed consent to such annexation. That said territory
proposed to be annexed to said City of Anaheim is situated in
the County of Orange, State of California, and is contiguous
to the City of Anaheim, and is uninhabited territory. That
said consent signed by all of the owners of land within the ter -
ritory proposed to be annexed contained a description of said
territory in words and figures as hereinafter in this resolu-
tion described.
That the City of Anaheim filed said request to annex
said territory, containing the specific boundaries of the ter-
ritory to be annexed, with the Local Agency Formation Commis-
sion and said Local Agency Formation Commission approved said
annexation request of the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section
54797.1 of the Government Code.
That on the 28th day of May , 1980 ,
the Local Agency Formation Commission duly adopted Resolution
No. €39 in which said Commission authorized the City of
Anaheim to annex said territory in accordance with Section
54797.1 of the Government Code and further approved such
annexation of said territory without notice or hearing.

That the Local Agency Formation Commission further
by resolution, authorized the City Council of the City of
Anaheim to annex said territory without notice or hearing by
the City Council and without the requirement that an election
be held by the City on the question of said annexation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the annexation of the
territory included within the boundaries of the FRONTERA
NO. 3 ANNEXATION , more particularly
described as follows, to wit:
That certain parcel of land located in the unincorpo-
rated territory of the County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing City
limit line of the City of Anaheim, said point of be-
ginning being the southeast corner of the Frontera No.
2 Annexation to said City; thence following along the
easterly and northerly annexation boundary lines of
said annexation, the following courses and distances:
N 26° 01' 02" W, 247.85 feet; thence S 70° 50' 29" W,
152.68 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve con
cave northerly and having a radius of 375.00 feet, a
radial line of said curve to said point bears S 19°
09' 31" E; thence Southwesterly, Westerly and North-
westerly along said curve through a central angle of
44° 00' 00" an arc distance of 287.98 feet; thence N
65° 09' 31" W, 120.76 feet to the northwest corner of
said annexation boundary line, said northwest corner
also being a point in the boundary line of the City
of Anaheim as established by the La Palma -Rio Vista
Annexation to the City of Anaheim; thence leaving said
Frontera No. 2 Annexation boundary line and following
along a portion of the easterly line of said La Palma -Rio
Vista Annexation N 7° 19' 33" W, 390.11 feet to the most
northerly, northeasterly corner of said La Palma -Rio
Vista Annexation, said last mentioned corner being a
point in the southerly line of the La Palma- Kraemer
Annexation to said City; thence leaving said La Palma -Rio
Vista Annexation boundary line and following a portion
of said La Palma- Kraemer Annexation boundary line N 74°
01' 46" E, 155.24 feet; thence N 16° 55' 10" W, 142.00
feet to an intersection with the northerly right of way
line of the Riverside Freeway per VII ORA- 175 -B, as
shown on State Right of Way Map No. F -1837 on file in
the office of the County Surveyor of said County as
File No. 9459, said point of intersection being a point
in the existing Anaheim City limit line as established
by the Northeast Annexation No. 2 -A to the City of
Anaheim; thence leaving said La Palma — Kraemer Annexation
boundary line and following a portion of said Northeast
No. 2 -A Annexation boundary line also being said north-
erly right of way line, N 73° 48' 30" E, 1,471.00 feet

to an intersection with the northerly prolongation
of the easterly right of way line of Newkirk Road,
(Abandoned); thence leaving said northerly right of
way line and continuing along said boundary line and
said northerly prolongation and said easterly right
of way line S 20° 28' 10" E, 768.14 feet; thence leav-
ing said easterly right of way line and continuing
along said existing boundary line S 73° 04' 00" W,
40.00 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
southeasterly and having a radius of 12,325.70 feet,
a radial line of said curve to said point bears N 21°
37' 09" W; thence leaving said existing boundary line
in a southwesterly direction along said curve through
a central angle of 5° 10' 02" an arc distance of
1,111.59 feet to an intersection with the easterly
right of way line of Glassell Street (Formerly known
as Dowling Street), a radial line of said curve to said
point bears N 26° 47' 11" W; thence S 63° 58' 58" W,
50.00 feet to the point of beginning,
is hereby approved and said territory is hereby annexed to
and incorporated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, and is hereby designated as the
FRONTERA NO. 3 ANNEXATION to the City of Anaheim
.e'"' BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that from and after the date
of the adoption of this resolution and the filing of a certi-
fied copy thereof with the Secretary of State of the State of
California, the annexation of the territory herein described
shall be deemed to be and shall be complete and thenceforth
such annexed territory shall he, to all intents and purposes,
a part of the City of Anaheim and, from and after the effec-
tive date of such annexation, all property therein shall be
subject to taxation equally with the property within the City
of Anaheim and shall be taxed to pay its proportionate share
of the existing indebtedness and liability of said City of
Anaheim contracted prior to or existing at the time of such
annexation pursuant to the written consent of the owners of
property in said annexed territory filed with the Clerk of the
City of Anaheim prior to the adoption of this resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 9th day of
September , 191_.
