OF ANAHEIM S~RSEDING RESOLUTION NO. 79R-590
AND AMENDMENT~! THERETO: AND ADJUSTING RATES OF
COMPENSATION ~R CLASSi~FICATIONS DESIGNATED AS
ADMINISTRATIvE! MANAGE~T.
~
WHEREAS, the need: ~as been established for adjusting rates
of compensation for ce~ain administrative management classifications,
and
WHEREAS, as a res~t thereof, the need exists to supersede
Resolution No. 79R-590 and amendments thereto, and
WHEREAS, the City council of the City of Anaheim does find
that adjusting the rat~s of compensation for these administrative
management classifications is in the best interests of the City
of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, B~ IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim as follows:
Section 1.
That effective October.;LO, 1980, the basic compensation plan for
all officers and emplot~es of t~e City of Anaheim who are now
employed or will in th. future be employed in any of the
classifications listedf~elow shall be allocated to the following
salary schedules in the Salary Schedule Master.

Section 2.
In order for the rates Of pay listed herein to be implemented as
of October 10, 1980, p~rsuant to Section 1 thereof, the performance
of each employee in th~ classes herein listed shall be appropriately
evaluated and the inc~ent employees may be placed on any step in
the above salary sched~e based on satisfactory performance
.~ evaluation. Otherwise, the employee shall be compensated at his
existing rate of pay until it is appropriately determined that the
performance of said employee warrants assignment to a different step.
At, such time as it is, determined that an increase in pay is warranted
through performance eV41uation, the employee may be placed on any
higher step in the designated s~lary schedule eff~ctive the first
day of the pay period !n which "the determination is made.

Section 3.
The letter "X" preceding a schedule number indicates that employees
working in that job cl~ss are eKempt from overtime provisions as
provided in Personnel RUle 6.04, Premium Pay.
~ Section 4.
The regular hourly rat~ of pay for employees working in jOb
classes listed in this Resolution shall be computed as provided
in Personnel Rule 5, Hours of WOrk and Pay Day.
Section 5.
The provisions of this Resolution shall supersede Resolution No.
79R-590 and amenqroents thereto.
THE FOREGOING RES~~UTION is approved and adopted by the City
