RESOLUTION NO" 69R-572
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NO" 1133.
WHEREAS, th~ City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit from
JOHN and ELTA STOWERS, P.O. BOX 247, Corona Del Mar, California,
Owners, to establish a pawn shop in conjunction with an existing
retail shop on the following described property:
Lot 5 of the Kroeger Hall Subdivision as shown on a map
recorded in Book 7, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records
of Orange County, California.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon
said request on september 8, 1969 >> notices of which
said public hearing were duly given as required by law and the
I2rovisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim MuLnicipa1
Code, and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, in-
vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and
after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at
said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. PC 69-180__
denying Conditiona] Use Permit No. 1133
; and

October 14 , 19 69 , at the City Hall, in the City
of Anaheim, and notices of .uch public hearing were duly given
as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter
18.76 of the Anaheim MUnicipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful
consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hear-
ing, that Conditional Use Permit No. llll should be denied.
NOW ~ THERlFOItE9 BE IT RESOLVED .by the Cit:y Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Com-
mission den~in6 Conditional Use Permit No. 1133 be,
and the same is ereb, sustained , and that the request of
JOHN and EL~A STOWERS, Owners, to establish a pawn shop in con-
junction with an existing retail shop is hereby denied.
