RESOLUTION NO. 6 9R- 539
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHED1 ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
deslrous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal pu~pbses, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha~ offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of
BANK OF AMERICA NATIONAL TRUST AND SAVINGS ASSOCIATION,
a natlonal bank1ng assoc1atlon
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of Lot 6, Regier Subdivision, as shown
on a Map thereof recorded in Book 6, page 37 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Broadway,
formerly known as Broadway Street, with the centerline of
Helena Street, as shown on a Map of said Regier Subdivision;
thence South 150 23' East along the centerline of Helena Street
a distance of 36.83 feet~ thence South 740 37' West a distance
of 25 feet to the beginning of a curve concave Southwesterly and
having a radius of 15 feet, a radial line bearing North 740 37'
East passes through the point of beginning of said curve; thence
Northerly and Westerly along said curve through a central angle
of 900 07' an arc distance of 23.59 feet to an intersection with
a line parallel with and 21.75 feet Southerly of the centerline
of said Broadway; thence North 150 3D' West a distance of 21.75
feet to an intersection with the said centerline of said Broadway;
thence North 740 3D' East along the said centerline of said
Broadway a distance of 40.07 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
