RESOLUTION NO. 69R- 491
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR EASEMENTS FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: Easements for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ANNE HENNING PAULUS to
sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for easements for road and public utility
purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: An easement for road and public utility
purposes over, under and across that portion of the
Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section
7, Township 4 South, Range 9 West, in the Rancho San
Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map thereof
recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, California, described
as follows:
Commencing at the centerline intersection of Lincoln
Avenue (formerly known as Anaheim-Olive Road) and Rio
Vista Street, as said intersection is shown on a Map
of Survey filed in Book 21, page 45 of Records of Surveys
in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange
County; thence following along the centerline of said
Lincoln Avenue, South 780 54' 31" East 195.00 feet
to the true point of beginning; thence continuing to
follow along the centerline of said Lincoln Avenue,
South 780 54' 31" East 1040.55 feet; thence south 110
05' 29" West 30 feet; thence South 820 52' 41" West
118.27 feet to an intersection with a line parallel
with and 53 feet Southerly of the centerline of said
Lincoln Avenue; thence North 780 54' 31" West 914.47
feet; thence North 00 20' 29" East 53.95 feet to the
true point of beginning.
PARCEL TWO: An easement for road and public utility
purposes over, under and across the Westerly 45 feet,
as measured at right angles to the centerline of Rio
Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of
Rio vista Street and Anaheim-Olive Road, now known
as Lincoln Avenue, as said streets are shown on a map
of survey filed in Book 21, page 45 of Record of Sur-
veys in the Office of the County Recorder of said
Orange County, and running thence South 780 55' 30"
East along the centerline of Lincoln Avenue, 680.79
feet to the Westerly line of the land conveyed to the
State of California by deed recorded November 5, 1948
in Book 1725, page 422 of Official Records; thence
South 110 05' 20" West along said Westerly line, 30
feet to the Southerly line of said land conveyed to
the State of California; thence South 780 55' 30" East
along said Southerly line 89.88 feet to an angle point
therein; thence South 760 58' 38" East, along said
Southerly line, 393.81 feet to the South line of the
Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of said
Section 7; thence South 890 57' 45" West, along said
South line, 1135 feet to the West line of the Northwest
quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 7;
thence North 00 19' 30" East, along said West line,
268.17 feet to the point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom that portion thereof described
as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of
Rio vista Street and Anaheim-Olive Road, now known
as Lincoln Avenue, as said streets are shown on a map
of survey filed in Book 21, page 45 of Record of Surveys
in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange
County, and running thence South 00 19' 30" West along
said centerline of Rio Vista Street, 212.77 feet; thence
North 890 57' 45" East 192.36 feet; thence North 00
19' 30" East parallel with said centerline of Rio Vista
Street, 175.04 feet to said centerline of Lincoln Avenue;
thence North 780 55' 30" West along said centerline,
195.00 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 19th day of August , 1969.
