RESOLUTION NO. 69R-368
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING N~D DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 68-69-96 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 24th day
of June , 19 69 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did give notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

That portion of the Southeast Quarter of the South-
west quarter of Section 7, Township 4 South, Range
10 vJest, in .the Rancho Los Coyotes, City of AIlaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
in the Office of the County Recorder of said County,
described as fol1ows~
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Southeast
corner thence along the West line of said Southeast
quarter North 00 23' 29" l'Jest 370.02 feet to the
North line of the South 370.00 feet of said Southeast
quarter; thence along said North line north 880 58' 0011
East 518.89 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
continuing along said North line North 380 58' 00"
East 259.45 feet to the northerly prolongation of
the Easterly line of Parcel 1 of the land described
in the deed to Jerry Victor ]\Ialer et al., recorded
January 18, 1956 in Book 3359, page 249 of Official
Records; thence along said prolongation and said
Easterly line South 00 48' 10" East 370.00 feet to
the South line of said Southeast quarter; thence
along said South line South 880 58' 0011 West 260.34
feet to a line which bears North 00 39' 57" East and
which passes through the true point of beginning;
thence North 00 39' 57" West 370.00 feet to the
true point of beginning.
EXCEPT the South 40.00 feet thereof.

R-3, riULTIPLE-FN1ILY P~SIDENTIAL ZONE upon the following
conditions:
1. That street improvement plans shall be prepared
and all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim, along Lincoln FNenue, such as curbs and
gutters, sidewalks, street grading and paving,
drainage facilities, or other appurtenant work
shall be COmiJlied '.Vi th as required by the City
Engineer and in accordance with standard plans
and specifications on file in the Office of the
City Engineer, and that a bond in an amount and
form satisfactory to the City of Anaheim shall
be posteci with the City to guarantee the installa-
tion of said engineering requirements.
2. That the onwer of subject property shall install
street lighting along Lincoln Avenue as required
by the Director of Pu~lic utilities and in accor-
dance vIi tn standard plans and specifications on
file in tne Office of the Director of Public
Utilities; and that a bond in an amount and form
satisfactory to the City of Anaheim shall be posted
with the City to guarantee the installation of
sald street lighting.
3. That the owner of subject property shall pay to
tne City of P.naheim the sum of 15<: per front foot
along Lincoln Avenue, for tree ;)lanting purposes.
4. That tras~ storage areas shall De provided in accor-
dance with approved plans on file in the Office
of -the Director of Public Works.

That fire aydrants snaIl be installed as required
and determinec_ to J)e necessary by the Chief of
the Fire Department.

That any air-conditioning facilities proposed shall
be properly shielded from view, and the sound shall
be buffered from adjacent residential homes.
That a Parcel ~ap to record the approved division
of subject property shall be submitted to the City
of Anaheim for approval and then be recorded in
the Office of the Orange County Recorder.

That Conditions Nos. 1, 2 and 3, above-mentioned
shall be complied with within a period of 180 days
from date hereof, or such further time as the City
Council may grant.
