A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A CER-
TAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Ana-
heim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution declaring
its intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones herein-
after mentioned and described, and did fix a time and place for the
holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed
in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly hold and
conduct such public hearing to consider said proposed change of
zone or zones, and did receive evidence and reports from persons
interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by for-
mal resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and
reasons for recommending an amendment to said Title 18 of the Ana-
heim Municipal Code to effect the proposed changes in the boundaries
of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix
the 30t~ day of JU1~ ' 19~, as the time and the Council
Chamber ~n the City Ha 1 of the City of Anaheim as the place for a
public hearing upon said proposed change of zone or zones, and did
give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18
of the Anaheim MUnicipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon con-
sider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or zones
in which it is now situated to a different zone or zones, as here-
inafter set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which
it is now incorporated, and that a change of zone should not be
granted.
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows, to wit:
That portion of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of Section 17, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B. & M., described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 72 of Tract
No. 2402, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 79, pages
37, 38 and 39 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California; thence South 890 02' 50" East 100
feet, more or less, along the North line of Lot 72 of
said Tract No. 2402, to an intersection with a line
parallel with and 50 feet Westerly of the centerline of
Euclid Street; thence South 00 32' 15" West 791.45 feet,
more or less, along the last mentioned parallel line to
an intersection with the Northerly line of Lot 77 of

said Tract No. 2402; thence North 810 59' 20" West 100
feet, more or less, along the North line of Lot 77 of

said Northwest corner also being the Southeast corner

East 121.59 feet, more or less, along the East line of
said Lot 53 and the East line of Lot 54 of said Tract
2402 to the Northeast corner of said Lot 54, said North-
east corner also being the Southeast corner of Lot 55
of said Tract 2402; thence North 30 54' 19" West 330.97
feet, more or less, along the East line of said Lot 55
and the East line of Lots 56, 57, 58 and 59 of said
Tract No. 2402 to the Northeast corner of said Lot 59,
said Northeast corner also being the Southeast corner
of Lot 60 of said Tract 2402; thence North 220 03' 32"
East 69.89 feet, more or less, to the Northeast corner
of said Lot 60, said Northeast corner also being the
Southeast corner of Lot 61 of said Tract No. 2402;
thence North 00 32' 15" East 277.33 feet, more or less,
along the Easterly line of said Lot 61 and the Easterly
line of Lots 62; 63 and 64 of said Tract 2402 to the
point of beginning.
remain in the R-l, ONE-F~lILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE and R-A,
AGRICULTURAL ZONE, in which it is now incorporated and that the
reclassification to C-l, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, as recommended
by the City Planning Commission in its Resolution No. PC68-l84,
be denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 30th day of July, 1968.
