CALLED at 2:10 o~clock P.M.~ a quorum being present
MEETING
PRESENT Chairman St~mrners~ Com-nissioners : Hapgood, Ruitcel~ Schumacher~ Thompson,
and Mungall. Mr. Murdcch~ Ci.ty Administrator was present d~ring the last
part of the meeting.
ABSENT Commissioners: Auest, Gauer and Schutte.
TENTATIVE A tentative Map of Tract No. 1909 was presented to the Co~ission. This tract
MAP OF is located at the southwest corner of Ball Road and South L~:non Street and .._
TRACT N0. as presented containes ~,3 Lots. The subdivider is the Barclay Developoent Co.
1909 474 North HavrEhorne Blvd., Hawthorne, California.
Upon a motion by commissioner Schwnacher~ seconded by Ruitcel and carried, it
was voted to approve the Tentative Map af Tract No. 1909 subject to the fol.-
lowing conditions:
1. Introduction of a street running east and west around Lot 10
to break up the ].718 foot block and permit future development
to the west.
2. Introduction of a street through lots 21 and 63, which shauld
be paid for in part by the two property owners to the North
and to eliminate a dead enc~ street 550 feet long.
3. Sub~ect to engineering zequirements.

and carried ~ it was voted to approve the 7entative Map of Tract No. 1395
sub3ect to the following conditione:

2. Engineering requirements.
REVISED A revised Tentative Map of Tract No. 1843 was presented to the Commi43ion.
TENTATIVE This tract is located at the Northeast corner of Placentia Avenue and the
TRACT MAP Anaheim-Olive Road and contafns, as revised, 85 building lot~. Ihe proposed
N0. 1843 neighborhoosi shopping center has been eliminated. Ihe 3ubdivider is
Franedie, Inc., 5360 Lankershim Blvd~ No. Hollywood, Californi~.

Upon a motion by Gomnissioner Mungall~ seconded by Commissioner 7'hompson and
carried~ it was voted to approve the Tentative Map of Tract No. 1914 sub3ect
to Engi~eering requirements.
SUBDIVISION Mr. Murdock~ brought up the question of "Subdivision Controls" especially with
CONTROLS regard to lot sizes. My changes of lhhis nature can be introduced into the
~ Revised Subdivision Ordinance adopted by the Commission about one year ago and
which it is understood is appaxently nearly ready to be adopted by ihe City
Council~ without changing the Zoning Ordinance.
Afier discussion Commissioner Mungall ~ade a nation~ seconded by Commissioner
Schumacher and carried, that the Cortmi.ssion go on record as recomnending to the
City Counc,~l that the lot size requirements be raised to 7200 squara feet ex-
eept that°'~rea in the NArthwest oortion of the City should rem.ain as at
present, namely, 6000 ~quare feet.
