dential scro~s the street. Mr. Morningstar, an Attorney for the sing~e
family resident~ across the street, stated that the City Council
ciassified trese lots to R-1 to act as a buffer between the singie
familp residents and the balance of the. tract wkrich was alloaed to be
rec].assified to R-3 aad that conditions have not changed aad the need
for a buffer zone is stiil a requirement io protect the singie family
residences. Mr. Haxoid Mack, 312 South West Street, appeared
befnre the Commission a~ presented a petition signed by 29 residents
in the area opposing the reclassification. He stated that he had seen
nc~ advertisement of the sale of these lots for siagle famiiq residents,
~ithough Mr. Medaris made the statement ~hat all the other lots in the
tract had been sold a~ that it r~as just possible @iat if these lots
were advertised for singie familq use they still could be soid. L. M.
