LINGH. 937 North Claudina Street, Anaheim, California, as Owner and
as Lessee, requesting permiasion to do LIGHT WOOD-WORSING on the
property described as Lot 36 through 39 of Tract 97, and further
described as 1129 North Lemon Street. The property is presentiy

Mrs. Rhea Todd appeared before the Commission and stated that Mr.
Cano has two lots with buildings which were moved from the Freeway.
These lots are deep with an alley at the rear, and black-topped for
off-atreet parking. M-2 is located directly acrosa the street, and
it would appear that M-1 should be aliorred as a buffer between the
R-3 on the next street to the West. Mr. Zarlinge appeared before
the Commission and atated th~t he desires t~ make patterns for
molding in this buiiding, with one employee and possibly one more
at a later date. The three parking spaces in front will be for
customers, and parking in the rear for employees. It is essentially
s sma11 operation, snQ he stated thet he mekes the patterns for
Slectra Motors across the street.

the street, stating that the trucka are parked at present on the

k sore. She also stated that considerable dnst is raised by the
~ trucks moving in and ou4 of the property. It was poi:a4ed out that
such trucks had beea stored there since Mr. Jimenez had acquired
~ the propertq, ia 1952, and that this business consists oi hauling
° fruit for the Yorba Orange Growers. Mrs. Jones stated that the
people on Redwood wouid hot abject to the use, provided all the
trucks were stored in the rear of the property, and aise the boxes,
and that there is sufficient property to enable the applicant to
do this.

at the rear of the propertq. Also, that the driveway and the truck
parking area be improved with oil as a minimum requirement to elim-
inate dust, and that there be no stor~ge of bozes on the front of
the pro~.+er#y.

was pointed out to Mr. Carter that before he ap~ered before the
City Council it wouid be weil to have a better rendering of the
elevation of the propoaed Motel.

TRAGT N0. 3313 and South Los Angeies Street, and contains 12 M°1, Light Mannfac-
ture lots. The snbdivider is the Developmeat Equipment Leasing
Corporation, 12901 Crenshaw Boulevard, Hawthorne, Caiifornia.
At the City~s Engineering Committee Meeting, certain changes rere
suggested in the layout of this tract. These were pointed ont to
the Commission. These changes were, namelq:
1. The shifting of the lot line on Lot 10 liiesterip to liae np
with the west line of "A" Street, in order to give aore
frontage into this particular ioc. The shiftiag of the
Wes4 pzoperty line on Lot 11, so that it ~coses ~a13e3
to the new West lot line of Lot 10.
2, There a9pareatly is no need for aa alley at the Sonth e~
of the property, and it was suggested that this be elimi-
nated and cause one less entrance onto U. S. Highray 101.
3. Thnt the alley back of U. S. Higlraay 101 be iacreased to
30~ and be extended to the South line of the lot that xili
be eventuaily at the Southeast corner of Baii Road and
U. S, Highway 101, and then turn and go out to °A" Street.
Upon a motioa by Commisaioner DuHois, seconded by Commissioner Mm~
gali, and carried, it was moved that the Tentabive Map of Tract No.
3313 be recommended for approval subject to the engiaeering changes
requested by the Emgineering Comasittee.

Tentative Map of Tract No. 3315 be held over until the meeting of
October 7, 1957.
ZBNfATIVB MAP OP - Subdivider is George M. Holstein & Sons, 166 Sast 17th Street,
TRACT N0. 3320 Costa Mesa, Celifornia. This tract is located between Nutwood and
Euclid AvenuE, South of Bail Road.
This 3s a reversion to acreage as one 1ot of Tract No. 2779, whieh
has t:een recorded in the County. Since the map as recorded was
based ~ County standardsy which are different frcm the City of
Anaheiw, the subdivider desires to build a tract in conformance
with the standards of the City ef Anaheim.
Upon a motion by Commissioner Summers, seconded bq Commiasioner
Hapgood, aad carried, it was moved that the Tentative map of Tract
No. 3320, for the revession of the area back to acreage and be

RESOLUfION N0. 55 - At the reques~, of the City Council, conaideration was given to
the removal of Ambulance Service from what has been the commonly
used classification, namely C-2, to an Unclassified Use. This was
made necessary by the fact on some C-2 aites that auch a service
might be dangerous to the safetq and rveli-being of the public.
Upon a motion by Commissioner Mauerhan, seconded by Corumisaioner
Thompson, it was moved that Reaoiution No. 55, Series 1957-58, be
adopted, and that Ambulance Service be listed as No. 9 under the
Unclassified Uses, which require the review of the site and the
issuance of a Special Use Permit.
The vote on the above Resolution was as follows:

This aite was piaced ia escrow by the Schooi Board before pre~entin~
