ADJOURNHD REGUTAR MS$TIi~G--6ITY PLANNING COMI~[ISSION - PBBRUARY 16. 1959
TBNTATIVH MAPS OP - between tract 2832 and 2938.
1RACT N03. 2832 &
2938 Upon a motion by Commissioner Mungali~ seconded by
Commissioner Sumciers and carried, it was m~ved that the
Tentative Maps of Tract Nos. 2832 aud 2938 be approve3,
subject to:
1. The obtaining of a letter from the Flood
Coatrol District of Orange County and the
Carbon Creek Q-annel will run along the
Northerly portion of thesa properties.
2. The elimination of drainage easement from
Southeriy cau-de-sac on tract no. 2938,
3. That pertinent plot and building pians be sub-
mitted to the City Cou~cil for review.
4. Require that should these subdivision be
developed as more than one subdivision, each
subdivision thereof shali be submitted in
tentative form for approval,
One of the provisioas specified by the 8ngineeriag
Commit4ee was that Stinson Streat should be extendad
from the North into these tracts, however the master p]an
for this area does not show such an exteasien of 4he
street. The street would run on the North side of the
proposed channel and follow the channei.
Mr. Butier of Butier-Harbor Construction Company
also objected to the dedication and installation
of curb and gutter and paving across the Bdison
easement between the two tracts as requested bq the
Bngineering Committee. As far as could be assertaiaed
the Bdison Company only has an easement over this
properiy and that the owner of the property is the
party that sold to the Butler-Harbor Construc4ion
Company tae land f~r these two tracts, therefor it wonld
appear some arrangement should be made with this owaer
be the Butler~Harbor Construction Company to imprare
this section so that there will not be an unimproved
section on Broadway at this point which will xnterf~r
with the drainage on this street.
