questions that might come up. Mrs. Chavos appeared b~fore
the Commission and gave a detailed report on the action
of the City Council with regard to these various properties
near the corner of Bmpire and Lincoln Avenue aad feit that
all these properties should be considered at the same
time otherwise the Planning Commission would be reversing
a decision by the City Council. Mr, John gent stated
that he stated that this request was made in good faith
and it was indicated that the purchaser of the property
that desires to use it for P-1 namely, Linbrook Hardware.
They propose 4o screen the parking lot from the properties
to the soutt with landscaping and trees aad a 6 foot
masonry wall which he believed would be more desirable
to the property owners ir: the area than the erection of
R-3, Muitiple Pamily Dwellings. He further stated that the
store hours are from 9 A.M, to 9'P,'1, There would be no

Commissioner DuBois offered a Resclution No. 258 that
Reclassification No. P-58-59-107 be denied. This motion
was seconded by Commissioner Morris. This motion was
withdrawn by the maker and Commissioner DuBois again
offered Reaolution No. 258 that Reelassification No.
P-58-59-107 be recommended to the City Councii for approvai
for P-1, Parking, subject to:
