REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING - A Regular Meeting of the City Planning Commission was called to order at
2s00 0'Clock P.M. by Chairman Gauer, a quorum being present.
PRESENT - Chairman Gauer, Commissioners= Allred, Marcoux, Mauerhan, S•.~mers.
Commissioner DuBois entered the meeting at 2:05 0'Clock P.M. and
Commissioner Morris at 2s10 0'Clock P.M.

MINUTES - The minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 1, 1960, were appoved as
printed.
VARIANCE N0. 1196- PUBLIC HEARING. PETITION submitted by N,R• J. N. SCFIl20EDER,
5922 Highland, Yorba Linda, Calif., requesting permission to IXPAND
STRUCTURE OF PRHSENT DRIVE-IN MILK DEPOT on the property described
as A parcel on northwest corner of Euclid Ave. 8 Beacon Ave., also
described as 829 S. Euclid Ave. The property is presently classified
• G1, NEIGHBORHO~D CONWIERCIAL.
The applicant was present and had nothing further to say.
Mr. Gauer asked who permitted them to put the ::~:•..~r freeze in front?
They promised that it would be a nice looking development.
The applicant stated the attendant put the freezer there and he thought
he had obtained permission to do it. ;
There was no one to oppose this appiication.
Mr. Gauer felt that the addition was not very good looking. ~

The applicant said the new additions were for the convenience of
serving the customers.
Mr. Mauerhan ppinted out that the additions were not a part of the
original variance and had been installed without 9oing through the
proper procedures.
Mr. Allred asked what the additions would house?
The applicant said it would house the cash register, bread, potatc chips
etc.

Commissioner Morris offered Resolution No. 164, Series 1959-60 ~
that Variance No. 1196 be granted, subject tos
1. Any addition that is there be painted the same as the original '~
structure. '
2. Brick in the cnmoresor to hide the unsightly scene from Beacon St. ~
The top need not be bricked, as it would serve as a vent. ~
