He stated the Redevelopment Agency is willing to inskil the sound wall (6 feet around the Cottage and 7 feet around the Grimshaw House -top of slope), to help reach the 65db which is required on the exterior yards. The sound consultant Indicated with singe pane windows he wc;:!d not guarantee what the sound levels inside would be. He also stated that is laminated glass or dual glaze windows were installed, i4 may get close to 45db, but he was not precisely sure. Mable Street, Anaheim, CA 92802 He stated they need the subject freestanding pole sign because the current visibility is not sufficient. He explained that it is hard to see that a school is present at the subject location and the school is still in the process of growth and they need the visibility of a sign to help fill the campus. THE PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED. STAFF'S COMMENTS: Commissioner Messe asked what is the visibU'rty of the present sign. Mr. Jackson explained the visibility of the school sign from different directions and referred to the drawings that were submitted. Commissioner Messe asked if drawings were submitted? Jonathan Borrego responded that drawings were submitted and should have been forwarded to the Commission. Commissioner Boydstun, after reviewing the drawings, stated she recommends approval of the subject request. ACTION: Determined that the previously approved negative declaration is adequate to serve as the required environmental documentation for subject request.
