Della Herrick, Associate Planner, introduced fihe ifiem and stated the applicant is r~ot
present today because they submitfied a lefter requesting a confinuar~ce to Niay 28,
2009, ir~ arder for them #o request an exemp~ion from the Qrange County Bo~rd of
Et~t~cafion per Government Code Section 63094. ]f the exemptiar~ is appro~ee~ by the
Board, the schaal faciG~y wauld be exempt fram the City of Anaheim's deve(opment
sfiandards and t1~e subject request wauld be wi~hdrawn.
Mr. Van Daren asked if fihere was anyane wha wauld like to speak to this i~em.
Ar~un Mehta, P.Q. Bax 3671, Anaheim, CA, sta#ed he is opposed to the subject reques~
because the siz~ of th~ fence Es inapprapriate for the residential neighborhood, and
pra~aerty values would depreciate.
Mr. o/an Doren assured the applicar~t tha# stafif will keep hir~ no~ified of the decisian by
the Orar~g~ Cour~ty Board af Education, ar~d if ~he subjecfi item is held before the Zoning
Administratar on May 28, 2009, he will be ir~formed by staff.
