A RESOI ,UTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMF~SSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
GRANTING 3ARIANCK NO, 421
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a
~ Request to erect a Temporary Directional Sign from R!C.qM3%N SIGNS, INC., 1730
East Anaheim Street, Long Beach, California, as applicant, on a certain parcel.
5 of real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:

Lot 3 as shown on Record of Survey 1-55 and further described as near
5 the North~.ast corner of Euclid Avenue and West La Palma Avenue.
6 The applicant requests permission to erect a Temporary Directional Sign
to advertise the sale of lots and homes in this area. The property is
? presently classified as R-A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL.
8 WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim, on Decembe~ 19, 1955, NOTICES of which said Public
9 Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and

WHEP.~AS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
i1 made by' itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:

1. This sign will advertise the sale of homes in the City of Anaheim.
15 2. Similar variances have been granted in the past.
14 NOW, TNEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY. PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY GRANTS VARIANCE NO. 471 SUBJECT TO:

1. Signs shall be a maim size of l0 by 25 feet.
16 2. Signs will be permitted for a maximum period of 6 month~ c.r less.
3. A permit must be taken out with the Building Department.
17 4. The name of the Sign Company must appear on every sign erected.
5. Signs must be l0 feet back of the right-of-way liue of any street
18 or highway.
6. At the intersection of the streets, the signs must be set back 25 feet.
19 7. All signs shall have a 6 foot ground ~'learance.
8. The fee pe~' sign shall be $25.00.
20 9. Sign variances shall be permitted for directional signs advertising
only tracts within the city limits of .~naheim.
