~ii! 1 WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received

t " 5534 Melrose Avenue, Hollywood, ~"alifornia, as Authorized Agent, 'on a certain
t~ ~ parcel of real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
'1~I 4 State of Califernia, described as follows:
~ The sign will be loqated at the Northwest corner of East Ia Palma
'~ § Avenue and Placentia Avenue.
~' 6 The applicant requests permission to erect a Temporary Directional
~.!' Sign to advertise the sale of lots and homes in Tract No. 1825.
i WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
i' 8 City Hall in the City of Anaheiml, on December 5, 1955, NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
! 9 ANAHEIM MUNICIPAI CODE, Section 9200; and
~li{~i 10 WHEREAS, Said Commission after due inspection, investigation and studies
' made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence
i1 and reports offered at said Hearing. does find and determine the following
~ facts:
71 1. Other Variances have been granted for Directional Signs advertising
i! 13 the sale of lots and houses in Anaheim Tracts.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING C0}~4ISSION
ii 15 HEREBY GRANTS VARIANCE NO. ~61 SUBJECT TO:
1. Signs shall be a maximum size of 10 by 25 feet.
'" 16 2. Signs will be permitted for a maxi~mnn period of 6 months or less.
3. A permit must be taken out with the Building Department.
17 4. The name of th~ Sign Company must appear on every sign erected.
5- Signs must b~' l0 feet back of the ~'... right-of-way line of any
18 street or highway.
6. At the ~ntersection of the streets, the signs must be set back 25 feet.
19 7. All signs shall have a 6 foot ground clearance.
8. The fee per sign shall be $25.00.
~0 9. Sign variancos shall be permibbed for directional signs advertising
21 only tracts within the City Limits of Anaheim.
