WHEREAS, The Ctty Planning Commission of the City of Ar~he~ has received
~ = Request to erect a Temporary Directional Sign from the RUNE SIGN and .ART
SERVICE, 15312 Arrow Highway, Baldwin Park, Cml tforn ia, as lessee, C,
~ 15312 Arrow Highway, Baldwin Park, California, as Authorized Agent, on a certain
parcel of real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Or~u§e, State
.' 4 of Callforr~a, described ms follows:
~ § The Southeast corner of Placenti~ Avenue and Romneya Drive.
i! 8 The applicant requests permission to erect a Tcmporary Directional
., ? Sign 10 by 20 feet on the above described property to advertise
I the sale of lots and houses In Tract No. 2570.
I 8 WHERF~, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
[ City Hall in the City o£ Anaheim, on February 20, 1956, NOTICES of which said
9 Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and

ll made by itself and In its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
12 reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1~ 1. Similar Variances have been 9ranted for signs advertising
tracts in the City of Anaheim.
14 2. This sign is temporary hu nature.
' 15 NOW, TL~REFOPJ~, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PhANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY GRANTS VARIANCE NO. 496 SUBJECT TO:

1. Signs shall he a maximum size of lO by 25 feet.
l? 2. Signs will be permitted for' a"maximum period of 6 months or less.
3. A permit must be taken ou~". with the Bulldin§ Department.
4. The name of the Sign Compahy must appear on every si~n erected.
18 5. Signs must be 10 feet back of the ri§ht-.of-way line of any street
19 or highway.
6. At the intersection of the streets, the si§ns must be set back
20 25 feet.
7. All si=-~ shall have a 6 foot ground clearance.

9. Sign ~ Ances shall he permitted for directional signs advertising
