A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
A/~AHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT RECLASSIFICATION NO. F~ 6-2~ Be A roved. .
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a
Verified Petition from the property owner (s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as
follows:
A portion of land lying ~ith~n the Southeast portion of Section 22, T4S, RiOW,
S.B.B.&M. consisting of 1~.8 acres (approxLmately) and further described as
starting at a point 880 feet (more or less) from the canter!ine of Midway Drive
and runnin~ along the ~esterly right-of-way line of I'mnchester Avenue in a
Southeasterl2 direction a distsnce of 896 feet (more or less); thence %~esterly
at right angles to Hsrbor Boulevard a dists~ce of i320 feet (more or less);
thence Northerly at right angles to ilatella Avenue a distance of 680 feet {more
or less); thence Easterly at right angles to Harbor Boulevard a distance of
660.82 feet to the point of beginning.
The applicant, LOREN E. NAGNER, 10503 South Los Angeies Street, ~aheim, Ca!i-
fornia: requests that the above property be reclassified from R-A, RESIDENTIAL
AGRICULTUR~ to M-l, LIGHT ~/gOFACTURING. The ALTEC-LA/~SIII} CCP~., 9356 Santa
Mortice Boulevard, Beverly Hills, Ca: .fornia, proposes to build a plant on this
property.
WHE ~REAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION NO.
~on the ~ day of March ., 19_ 5--6, NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM ~FdNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHKIEAS, Said' Commission. after due insDection, investigation and studies
made by ~tself and in its behalf, and after ~ue consideration of ~ evidence and
reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The above property lies on the frontage road on the south side of the
Santa Aha Freeway.
2. The use proposed is a very clean light industrial activity.
3. The Reclassification will not he detrimental to other properties
in the ~rea.
NOW, THERF/~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM T}DiT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F_- 55-56-24 Be..Approved, subject to:
1. Fie reclassification of the frontage on Manchester Avenue
to a P-L, PARKING-LANDSCAPI2~ ZONE and the balance to the
rear to M-l, LIGHT MANUFACTURING.
