2 WH~REAS~ The Ci%y Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a
Verified Petition from CUNNINGHAM COMPA~ 500 South Walnut Street, Anaheim,
5 California, as Owner, BUTT~RFI~.LD SIGN COMPAR"f, 220 East Pacific Coast Highway,
Long Beach, California, as Authorized Agent of a certain parcel of real proper~y
4 situated in the City of Anaheim, Coun%%, of Orange, State of California, described
as follows:

The Northeast corner of Ball Road and ~uclid Avenue.

The applicant requests permission to erect a i0 by 25 foot directional
7 sign for the ad\,ertis~g bf homes in Tract No. 2402.
8 WH~RBAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, did hold a
Public Hearing in the City Hall at the City of Anaheim, on September 4, 1956,
9 NOTICES of which said Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the
provisions of the ANAH]~IM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and

WH~RFAS~ Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
11 made by itself and in its behalf and mfter due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts.

1. These directional signs are temporary.
15 ~. They are needed to dtrec~ customers to the tract homes and lots for
sale,
14 3. Other variances have been granted for similar signs advertising the sale
of lots and homes in Tracts in the City of Anaheim.

16 H~R~BY GRANTS VARIANC~ NO. 617 SUBJ'.CT TO:
17 l. Signs shall be a m~.ximum size of 10 by 25 feet.
Signs will be permitted for a maximum period of 6 months or less.
18 ". A permit must be taken out with the Building Department.
4. The name of the sign company must appear on every sign erected.
19 5. Signs must be 10 feet back of the right-of-way line of any' street
or highway.
20 6. At the intersection of the streets, the signs must be set back 25
feet.
~i '!. All signs shall havc a § foot ground clearance.
8. The fee per sign shall be $25.00.
2~ 9. Sign Variances shall be permitted for directional signs advertising
' only tracts within the c~ty limits of Anaheim.
